The park provides public recreation in a natural space while protecting the local flora and fauna; resting spots are considered, connected by a pedestrian and bicycle path that runs along the entire stream, thus creating lateral communication along the stream, breaking the limitations of the road system.

The guiding concepts of the project are:
Connectivity: Integrating the site through functional elements, including the pedestrian and bicycle path, bridges, and platforms connecting the park to residences. Creating visual and physical connections between buildings and public space to mobilize spatial vitality.
Accessibility: The focus is on moving towards a “city for people,” a welcoming and friendly city with well-planned public spaces and high-quality urban facilities.
Nature Appreciation: Permeating every part of the design. The park is a unique environment that improves the previously abandoned stream, which had almost no visual or physical connection with the city. The project explores native flora, implanted along surrounding streets and in the park, and also restores degraded landscapes.

The main element is the large bridge for bicycles and pedestrians. Our proposal to exclude motor vehicles was approved by the government, putting people first and prioritizing active transport. The bridge, made of wooden flooring and weathering steel railings, has wide bridgeheads that can accommodate large gatherings, such as musical performances and markets. It is a bridge-plaza.

The bridge design preserves the existing vegetation along the stream banks and outlines its shape, ultimately forming a silhouette embraced by nature, offering people the opportunity to get close to the treetops.

Leisure facilities are located in more open areas, preserving spaces already occupied by nature. The materials used are natural, and soil permeability is maintained. The entire degraded area has been planted with native tree species.

We emphasize direct communication between private buildings and the park. This strategy provides the local community with a greater sense of ownership. The area that used to be the back of the buildings now becomes the front of the park. Consequently, more portals open up to the public space, increasing security.

Throughout the long project process, many meetings were held to reconcile opinions, uniting public authorities, the community, and businesses neighboring the new buildings. The community actively participated, and their voices and strength culminated in a Conduct Adjustment Term, which defined the park's execution. The construction company accepted the PPP model (Public-Private Partnership), paying for the engineering works. This development has awakened and enriched the urban fabric, promoted the public interest, and created regional vitality.
