This is a primary kindergarten shaped by the spirit of the place and childlike emotions, where spaces are both sheltered and dreamlike, safe yet open to wonder. It resembles a small village, with abstract conical building volumes interconnected by open courtyards, arranged in a staggered manner. The cinnabar red schoolhouse is warm and inviting, rising amidst the woods and nestled within the greenery.

Master Plan
The project originates from memories of the site, reinterpreting the archetype of the traditional Venetian farmhouse, the "Casone Veneto"—the vernacular dwelling of fishermen and farmers, famous for its distinctive thatched roof. In the building's form, the three classrooms stand out as volumetric exceptions beneath the continuous terracotta-colored facade, echoing the ancient tradition of clay construction and pitched tile roofs while offering a modern interpretation. At the building's base, a gently colored concrete bench lightly touches the ground, serving both as urban furniture and an engaging transition between teaching and spontaneous activities, and between indoor and outdoor spaces. Although the building volume appears compact, it cleverly conceals an interplay of solid and void. Each classroom extends outwards, forming an outdoor learning terrace surrounded, protected, and framed by the courtyard, achieving a natural fusion of interior and exterior spaces.

Like the dwellings surrounding a village square, the classrooms also enclose the interior, fostering interaction through the central "agorà" (Ancient Greek for "assembly square")—a shared space for play and informal learning. From here, gazes pass through the classrooms and terraces towards the garden, linking spaces sequentially to form a continuous visual connection. Finally, the sightline extends upward to the skylight above. Sunlight, like a sundial, marks the passage of time, gently touching the richly textured wooden ceiling, quietly echoing the simple rhythm of the Casone's thatched roof.

Thus, the school transforms into an artificial landscape, a confluence of memory and innovation, a dialogue between rural prototypes and contemporary educational concepts. It is a village full of imagination, deeply rooted in the site, capable of igniting the purest fantasies in the hearts of children.
