In the context of globalized architecture, the expression of grassland culture faces an identity crisis. The Mongolian Ger, as the typical spatial carrier of nomadic civilization, embodies a unique spatial philosophy through its circular plan, prefabricated structure, and wisdom of coexisting with nature. Located near the Wulanhada volcanic cluster in Inner Mongolia, this project aims to establish a dialogue between the profound geological landscape and the flexible nomadic space through a Ger installation. The volcano symbolizes the raw power of the earth, while the Ger represents humanity's adaptive response to nature; their collision generates a unique spatial narrative.
在全球化的建筑语境中，草原文化的表达正面临同质化危机。蒙古包作为游牧文明的典型空间载体，其圆形平面、可装配式结构及与自然共生的智慧，体现了独特的空间哲学。本项目位于内蒙古乌兰哈达火山群旁，旨在通过蒙古包装置建立厚重的地质景观与柔性的游牧空间之间的对话。火山象征着大地的原始力量，而蒙古包则代表了人类对自然的适应性回应，二者的碰撞将产生独特的空间叙事。

Site Response: A Dialogue Between Volcano and Ger Landscape
The geometric form of the Wulanhada volcanic cone shares topological similarities with the cross-section curve of the Ger. By extracting and reassembling the geometry of the volcano and the Ger form, the installation becomes a microscopic reflection of the geological landscape while imparting a new spatial expression to the traditional Ger. This method establishes a poetic correspondence in scale and form, achieving a topological transformation from natural landform to architectural language.

Cultural Translation: Contemporary Interpretation of Nomadic Wisdom
The design deeply explores the ecological adaptability features of the Ger, analyzing its passive regulation system for harsh climates and translating these into spatial elements of the installation. By reserving openings at the top and bottom to guide micro-airflow, the space maintains comfort. Thus, while preserving the nomadic cultural genes, it is endowed with a spatial expression that meets contemporary needs.

Experience Design: Dynamic Spatial Narrative
Based on the geometric design of the spatial form, colored acrylic and dark acrylic are interleaved. This allows the installation space to present different color combinations of dynamic projections as natural light changes and clouds move. This elevates the installation beyond the realm of static space, making it an organic entity with a "sense of breath."
