空间叙事的多样性与体验性：新增加的三层空间在功能上满足了现代博物馆的需求（接待、活动、展览），其内部设计通过水平与垂直方向的相互嵌套，创造出丰富的空间层次感。建筑师利用明暗、高低、宽窄的变化，精心编排了一系列连续且对比鲜明的空间序列。这种对感知体验的精细调控，极大地增强了参观者在空间中穿梭时的沉浸感和对展览内容的多维度理解。
工艺的传承与当代诠释：项目的设计与实施体现了对建筑工艺的极致追求，继承了当地巴洛克风格建筑师强调“建筑与工艺紧密协作”的传统。当代预制木结构技术与历史原建筑的有机结合，以及立面差异化的设计处理，清晰界定了新旧功能分区。室内材质的选用——白漆木护墙板、云杉木地板以及灰木家具——既保持了简约的展示背景，又通过天然材料的质感，实现了对地域工艺精神的现代感召。
The Bezau Museum interweaves the past and the present. The listed building itself is an outstanding exhibit—a masterpiece showcasing the essence of local architectural culture and its close connection to craftsmanship and construction. The extension echoes the historic structure and further develops its essence through its distinct design language. With this expansion, the classic arrangement of front and rear building sections of traditional houses in the Bregenzerwald region is reproduced.

The three-story extension provides additional space for contemporary museum functions. As an expansion area for the permanent collection exhibited in the historic building section, it integrates visitor reception, small event hosting, and various exhibition functions. Its interior layout is characterized by spaces nested horizontally and vertically, interweaving new and old elements to create a new whole perceptible both spatially and conceptually. A rich diversity of spatial experiences is created amidst light and shadow, height and depth, narrowness and width, adding deeper richness to the exhibition arrangement.
扩建部分共三层，为当代博物馆功能提供了额外空间。作为历史建筑部分所展出的永久藏品的新增区域，它集游客接待、小型活动举办以及各类展览展示功能于一体。其内部布局以水平与垂直方向相互嵌套的空间为特色，将新旧元素交织融合，打造出一个可在空间与概念上均能被感知体验的全新整体。在明暗、高低、宽窄之间，营造出丰富多样的空间体验，为展览布局增添了更深层次的丰富性。

Following the tradition of local Baroque architects, the planning and implementation of the project embody a close collaboration between architecture and craftsmanship. The contemporary prefabricated timber structure complements the historic original building, while the facade, designed with differentiation, highlights its unique functional purpose.

Inside, white-painted wooden paneling, solid spruce floorboards, and ash wood furniture collectively create a minimalist yet atmospheric display setting for the wide variety of historical exhibits. The captivating dialogue between new and old elements forms a deeply meaningful whole.
室内，墙壁上刷着白漆的木质护墙板、坚固的云杉木地板以及灰木（或译为“梣木”）家具，共同为种类繁多的历史展品营造出简约而富有氛围感的展示环境。新旧元素之间引人入胜的对话，构成了一个富有深意的整体。
