材料观念的颠覆与诗意重塑:本项目最精髓之处在于其对传统钢铁材料的深刻解构与诗意化表达。设计师成功挑战了公众对钢铁“沉重与刚硬”的固有认知,通过将钢结构转化为三座精致的“建筑小品”,赋予了材料轻盈与柔韧的特质。这种将工业材料转化为艺术叙事的策略,不仅是形式上的转变,更是对材料本源理解的升华,使建筑从功能载体转变为可供观赏和体验的诗意载体。

身体感知驱动的空间叙事:建筑通过精心设计的、暴露所有结构细节的上下楼梯,将人体的运动行为置于核心地位。十米高平台上的结构,其楼梯踏板和扶手尺寸均由结构逻辑决定,消解了底层结构的隐蔽性,使力学和秩序完全可见。行走、攀爬和俯仰的动作,成为人们感知空间、丈量结构和建立场所感的主动行为,将静态的建筑体验转化为一场动态的、身体参与的探索之旅。

参与者与场所感的共创:项目巧妙地模糊了观者与物体的界限,使体验者成为“戏剧中的积极参与者”。三座独立又相互呼应的结构,创造出群体感和对话性。白色钢板构成的楼梯如同“星座意象”,在场地间编织出微妙的视觉联系。这种设计哲学强调了体验的生成性:场所感并非被动接受,而是通过人的“行走姿态与上下往复的动作”来共同创造和激活的,实现了上下、天地间的相互映照与融合。

Set on a platform ten meters above the ground, three skylights open dramatically, accompanied by three architectural structures. They stand like sculptures for viewing, yet are also small buildings for our bodies to interact with. Each structure is equipped with stairs leading up and down. The thickness of the steel plate for each stair tread and the dimension of the handrail are determined by structural requirements. This means the base structure is no longer hidden; instead, all details and connections are fully revealed. These rising and falling stairs awaken our bodies’ new perceptive awareness of the site and its spaces.
在离地面十米高的平台上,三扇天窗豁然开启,与之相伴的是三座建筑结构。它们宛如雕塑,供人观赏,但同时又是可供我们身体与之互动的小型建筑。每座结构都设有上下楼梯。每一级楼梯踏板的钢板厚度以及扶手尺寸,均由结构需求所决定。这意味着,底层结构不再隐匿不见,而是将所有细节与节点尽数展现。这些上下起伏的楼梯,唤醒了我们身体对场地及其空间全新的感知意识。

Through our gait and the repetitive action of ascending and descending, our hands and feet become the rulers measuring mechanics and order. Stairs are not merely mechanical devices for vertical connection in space, nor are platforms simply places for rest. Instead, they are spaces waiting for explorers to observe and fill them.
通过我们的行走姿态与上下往复的动作,我们的双手与脚步成为了衡量力学与秩序的标尺。楼梯不仅仅是空间中垂直连接的机械装置,平台也不仅仅是休憩之所。相反,它们是等待探险者观察与填充的空间。

The observer is an active participant in this drama, and the objects are creators that awaken our perception and generate our sense of place. These three structures stand independently, facing one another. Their number—three—also creates a sense of community. The white steel plates extending from the stairs evoke the imagery of constellations, weaving a subtle connection throughout the entire site.
观者是这场戏剧中的积极参与者,而物体则成为唤醒我们感知、生成我们场所感的创造者。这三座结构独立矗立,彼此对望。它们的数量 —— 三座,也营造出一种群体感。从楼梯延伸出的白色钢板,让人联想到星座的意象,在整个场地间编织出一种微妙的联系。

Climbing upward on the stairs is a performance, while descending is an echo. Above and below resonate with each other; the lower reflects the upper. Between heaven and earth, they echo, reflect, and merge into one.
在楼梯上攀爬向上是一场表演,而向下则是一种回响。上方与下方相互呼应;下方映照着上方。天地之间,相互呼应、彼此映照,融为一体。

Invited by a traditional Taiwanese steel company, KHAA is dedicated to transforming the public’s inherent perception of steel, shifting it from an impression of heaviness and rigidity to one of lightness and flexibility. Through this project, the steel structure is reimagined as three small architectural vignettes, each one like a softly recited poetic piece.
