文化意象的精妙提炼与空间化：该项目成功地将中秋节核心元素“桂花”进行抽象与具象的融合，通过藤蔓般的金色网架结构，构建了一个既有传统韵味又具当代雕塑感的“月亮”装置。设计语言上，它巧妙地致敬了维也纳分离派的装饰性与穹顶的浪漫主义，将短暂的公共艺术做到了形式与文化内涵的高度统一，体现了对传统符号现代转译的深刻理解。
光影与材料的诗意表达：亭身采用半透的弹性织物作为“月面”，不仅赋予了结构轻盈、脆弱的质感，更重要的是，它成为了光影媒介。在日间，它柔化了光线，与周围的风景形成互动；在夜间，内部的光晕与外部投射的桂花阴影交织，创造出一种沉浸式的、动态的“时间镜子”体验。这种对材料性能和光环境的精准控制，是优秀装置艺术的核心手法。
场域的互动性与双向叙事：设计的精髓在于其与地面的非遗艺术（灶花）形成了明确的“互文”关系。穹顶的结构投射在地面的图案，与地面图案相互呼应，使得装置不再是一个孤立的雕塑，而是与场地、时间、民间艺术形成了一个完整的、相互映照的叙事场域。这种由上至下、由虚至实的设计策略，极大地丰富了公众的参与维度和感知深度。
The Osmanthus Moon is a temporary public art installation commissioned to celebrate the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. It projects the osmanthus element, which is widely present in cultural relics and folklore (the characteristic plant and food of the Mid-Autumn Festival), and forms an intertextuality with the on-site painting actions of folk intangible cultural heritage artists specializing in "Zao Hua" (stove flower art).
月桂亭是为庆祝中国传统节日中秋节所定制的短期公共艺术装置。它投射了文物与民间广泛存在的桂花元素（中秋节的特色植物与食物），并在现场与民间非遗灶花艺人的动作绘画形成互文。

The pavilion resembles a semi-translucent full moon, quietly settled on the crescent-shaped lawn of Century Park. The vine-like traditional osmanthus patterns weave a gilded bronze spatial framework, while a light, elastic fabric covers the moon's surface. It pays homage to the gilded domes of the Vienna Secession while attempting to create the romantic sci-fi quality of a Fuller dome. Delicate, bright, and fragile, much like the ephemeral yet eternal joy and sighs brought by the concepts of "Moon" and "Osmanthus" throughout history.
展亭如一轮半透的圆月，宁静降落于世纪公园半月形大草坪。藤蔓般的传统桂花纹样编织出金铜色的空间网架，轻盈的弹性织物覆盖成月的表面。它致敬了维也纳分离派的镀金圆顶，同时试图创造福勒穹顶式的浪漫科幻。精巧、明亮、脆弱，就像古往今来“月”与“桂”带给人易碎又永恒的喜悦与叹息。

The ground drawing of the osmanthus pattern by the Zao Hua artist is precisely the projection of the golden structure of the dome, and vice versa. They complement each other in space.
灶花艺术家在地面的桂花纹样绘制正是穹顶金色结构的投射，反之亦然。它们在空间中相辅相成。

People can enter the interior of the moon through two irregular archways: during the day, surrounded by Impressionistic scenery and soft, supple fabrics; at night, interacting with the shadows of the vines and the rising halo of light. It is like walking into a mirror of time.
人们可从两个不规则的门洞进入月的内部：在日间被印象派的风景、柔糯的织物环绕；在夜间与藤蔓的阴影、光晕的升起互动。就像走进时间的镜子。

This project was commissioned by the Power Station of Art in Shanghai. It was planned to exist for only 12 days.
