光影策略与功能性的完美结合：建筑师对光线的运用是本设计的核心精髓之一。通过在看台后方主要采用蜂窝聚碳酸酯板覆盖的北立面，实现了漫射的、无阴影的柔和自然光照，极大地优化了两个多功能体育馆的使用体验。同时，入口处的过滤光与南、西立面的随机开口相结合，共同营造出宜人的室内氛围。这种对光线的精细控制，不仅服务于美学表达（如呼应金牌银牌的色彩），更是对体育功能空间光环境的深度优化。
结构逻辑与组织效率的统一：设计巧妙地利用了现有建筑的结构骨架，并通过压缩两个房间之间的空间，有效地组织了流线和功能布局。这一改造过程中，原有的实施约束被转化为组织项目的有力支撑。看台后的循环动线构成了两个场馆的“骨干连接”，将入口大厅与现有入口流畅地串联起来。这种在限制中寻求高效布局的策略，体现了严谨的建筑逻辑，确保了改造后的复杂体量在功能上实现了清晰、简单且高效的运作。
The newly renovated Coum sports center, located near a university, had to transform and extend the former gymnasium, in addition to its specific function, to integrate into its surroundings and enter into dialogue with the city.

We seized the opportunity to replace the translucent sections of the existing rooms. This new skin extends up to the height of the existing halls, forming a translucent ribbon that folds and wraps around the two main buildings.

It rises above the lobby level, clearly indicating an entrance. Joining the ground with a shimmering movement in gold, it draws the eye towards the new entrance. The dashed line of the ribbon echoes the sloping roof of the existing multipurpose hall, so that the project seems unchanged. However, traces of the past are there, clearly visible, but they are erased to give way to a single and striking architectural whole.
它上升在大堂层，清楚地表明一个入口。以金色和闪烁的运动加入地面，将目光引导到新的入口。丝带的虚线与现有多功能体育馆的倾斜屋顶相呼应，因此该项目似乎一直没变。然而，过去的痕迹就在那里，清晰可见，但它们被抹去了，取而代之的是独特而有趣的建筑整体。

General plan
East facade
The whole had to reflect the image of sports, active and dynamic, as the ambition of the project was to evoke the desire for sport. The existing building becomes the prop that allows us to deploy the facade tape on the extension gable. The architecture of the project embodies this sporting mission, with a facade that realizes the idea of movement.
由于该项目的目标是唤起人们体育运动的渴望，因此整体必须反映其积极和活力的形象。现有的建筑成为支撑，使我们能够在扩展的山墙上展开立面胶带。该项目的建筑体现了这种体育使命，其立面实现了运动这一创意。

The movement of the facade and the main color used have only one purpose: to create an event. To attract the eye, to promote sport. The gold tones at the entrance and the silver tones of the vertical slats recall the gold and silver medals of sporting competitions. Placed on a darker background, the translucent strip transforms with the light throughout the day and becomes a luminous signal at night.
立面的移动和使用的主要颜色只有一个目的：创造事件。吸引眼球，推广体育。入口处的金色色调和垂直板条的银色色调让人联想到体育比赛的金牌和银牌。放置在较暗背景上的半透明带全天与光线一起变换，在晚上变成发光信号。

The reflections from the shimmering gold and silver parts complete this play of light and give the building a noble letter in full. The reduction of the space left between the two halls allowed us to organize the project simply and efficiently. The initial constraints of implementation have proven to be an excellent support for the overall organization of the project.
闪闪发光的金色和银色部分的反射完成了这场灯光游戏，并完整地赋予了这座建筑贵族的字母。两个房间之间留出的空间减少，使我们能够简单有效地组织项目。最初的实施约束被证明是对项目总体组织的极好支持。

The circulation located behind the stands is the backbone that builds the link between the two multipurpose halls. It starts from the lobby and connects at its end the previous entrance of the existing hall. The new room accommodates regional competitions. Its main asset is a very pleasant natural lighting atmosphere.
位于看台后面的循环是构建两个多功能体育馆之间联系的骨干，它从大厅开始，在其末端连接现有大厅的先前入口。新房间迎合区域比赛的特点。主要优点是具有非常宜人的自然光氛围。

Ground floor plan
The long north facade located above the stands is entirely covered with translucent insulating panels (cellular polycarbonate) which diffuse a constant and soft light, without shadows for the spectators facing the field.
位于看台上方的长北立面完全覆盖着半透明的隔热板（蜂窝聚碳酸酯），这些面板漫射出恒定的柔和光线，观众朝向场地没有阴影。

This uniform light is completed by the filtered light from the translucent strip on the entrance facade and the random openings located on the south and west facades. The framework also brings a graphic touch and takes up the bias suggested on the main facade, which contributes to the overall visual.
这种均匀的光是由来自入口立面半透明带状物的过滤光以及位于南立面和西立面的随机开口带来的。框架还带来了图形触感，并采用了主立面上建议的偏见，将有助于整体的视觉效果。
