The core building of this project is the fishing market, which is a landscape pavilion composed of sheds, walls, earth embankments, and trees. This open space connects the fishing activities at the dock with the inland market. The concrete wall facing north is parallel to the dock, providing stable support for the building and withstanding strong winds. The embankment and windbreak further stabilize the surrounding environment and form a multi-level transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The city plans this space as a direct sales fishery market, integrating fixed net operations, retail fish stalls, and educational projects, with the aim of promoting and popularizing the local fishery culture.

When people step into the port, a series of familiar sights come into view: wind turbines standing in the distance, rows of white thousand story trees neatly arranged along the seawall, and rows of linear steel shacks, in order. These elements are laid out along the edge of the port, forming a repetitive and easily recognizable sequence that defines the visual and functional features of the seaside. They collectively reflect the spatial rhythm and operational structure of the fishing port.

The shed surrounded by vegetation provides people with a key shelter against monsoon and rainstorm. They form a labor system together with the dock: people repair fishing nets here, hang them in the sun, and rest in a cool place. Even the roadside has integrated into this work scene, transforming into a platform for drying fishing nets. Architecture, nature, and labor blend quietly here, like a serene dance.

Concrete pallets, fish washing stations, circular fish basins, and temporary vendor stalls are arranged in the site like permanent labor tools, following the logic of fishing operations. Their arrangement reflects the actual process sequence of unloading, sorting, and selling.

Above the head, a steel beam crane structure spans the work area, guiding the unfolding of the spatial sequence. A wooden frame roof provides shelter for the core area, directing rainwater to the ground and forming small shallow pools - these spaces attract people to gather, contemplate, and stop. The dialogue between wood and concrete, light and volume, together shape the architectural characteristics of the market.

The flow within the venue is guided by a layered landscape view and soft transitional spaces. From the external road, people can glimpse the market activities under the shed through the branches. Along the southern slope, the Bai Qian layer forest and grassland provide shade, filter the wind, and create a resting space with informal seating arrangements. Inside the venue, visual connections unfold layer by layer: from the harbor through the classroom, from the dock towards the market, and from the tree lined path into the sunny open space. The entire experience is like a continuous journey of arrival and subtle immersion.

It has become a stable pillar of the port, a rest station, and a community service station. It serves local fishermen, indigenous villages, and travelers passing through highways and bike lanes. The hut serves as a transitional space: it is where activities start, pause, and intersect.
