Songjing Resort is located in a small enclosed valley in Zhejiang Province, backed by Pingfeng Mountain and surrounded by pine forests. It is a miniature boutique estate consisting of a red wine room and only three panoramic guest rooms. Continuing the motto of "Find yourself in nature" at Anadu Resort, whether from a planning or architectural design perspective, we aim to showcase the unique pine forest scenery of this valley, respond to the natural imprint of the site, and create a more ultimate retreat experience that is exclusive to the pine environment. So the architectural complex was built in accordance with the texture of the valley and the trend. The layout of each building varies depending on the scenery, and their connection with the terrain is different. They all have unique landscape views, allowing people to embark on an immersive vacation in the cool breeze of the valley.

The starting point of the journey has quietly begun to brew a peaceful atmosphere from the entrance of the estate. The bamboo textured concrete and black charred wood "L" - shaped gate blend into the landscape in a low-key manner, like open arms embracing a valley of green plants while welcoming visitors.

On the original site of the wine room, there used to be an abandoned old house that had been in disrepair for a long time. In order to preserve the site imprint, the architectural form responded to the sloping texture of the old building. However, we changed the original double sloping roof to a four sided sloping roof, so that no matter which direction we arrived at the site, we could see this building. The building block is divided into two volumes: a cigar room and a reception area. The cigar room on the left side is enclosed and connected to the roof; The reception space on the right is detached from the roof, with a lightweight sloping roof suspended above the reception area, gradually introducing light. In addition, the metal eaves of the sloping roof have double layered shadow details on the edges, which not only balance the function of dripping water, but also to some extent reduce the sharp tension visually.

After passing through the functional space enclosed by the entrance, the body gradually dissolves and the space is fully opened. The light colored wood grain ceiling conforms to the roof shape, with a gentler slope. It extends to the edge and is connected to the black eaves with a black flat roof along the window. It further extends from indoors to outdoors, cantilevered to form an open gray space, and connects with the small square facing the pine forest in front of the building. In seasons with suitable temperatures, glass doors can be opened to incorporate the small square into the building space. In addition to functional blocks, all facades are made of floor to ceiling glass to maximize the landscape.

Passing through the wine room, a curved bamboo woven wall leads people into the guest room area. The landing has also changed from a hard ground to a soft sand and gravel ground, and the vacation atmosphere is constantly enhanced and changed by the irregular sand and gravel paths on the edge. A small square has been designed at the end of the road as a stopping space before entering the house, further creating a sense of secrecy. Three minimalist and independent individual buildings are quietly located deep in the valley, surrounding the square. Looking up, you can see the tall natural pine forest behind the buildings, but you cannot touch it yet. Faced with the "obstruction" of scattered walls, leave enough imagination for the space behind.

After experiencing a series of mysterious rituals through the courtyard gate and winding paths, when entering the guest room through the enclosed "volume" of the entrance, the view suddenly becomes clear. The upper and lower floors face the valley completely open, and the indoor space becomes flowing and transparent due to the 270 degree landscape. The joy of the journey reaches its peak. Each room is surrounded by nature on three sides and has a unique framed view.

In order to eliminate hidden structures and maximize space, the building structure adopts integrated pouring of plain concrete, and also uses upturned beams and pre embedded pipelines. There are no suspended beams, ceiling shapes or light lines indoors, and the entire plain concrete roof ensures the integrity of the space. The bottom plate, which corresponds to the top plate, maintains a certain distance from the ground, naturally detached from the valley terrain, as if floating on top of the valley, respecting the natural terrain to the greatest extent possible while being associated with it. There are no extra columns between the two concrete floor slabs, only a pine area is visible, creating a borderless valley retreat experience. Partially wrapped in wood, it carries the functions of some structures and pipelines, while also adding warm and flexible elements to the tough and elegant space.

Open the glass door and enter the exclusive pine forest backyard. The grey space under the eaves blends with nature, and each guest room has a unique outdoor suspended landscape platform. Depending on the terrain, the wooden leisure platform can be connected or disconnected, inviting people to further explore the valley's nature. The rooms are separated by plants and low walls to ensure the independence of each household, allowing them to enjoy their own private vacation space. The lights are like fireflies, scattered like stars among the trees or illuminating the path in low ground areas, creating a low-key and secluded atmosphere.

Most of the wooden carvings are carefully crafted using wood recycled from the local market, with 80% of the components coming from skilled artisans. These reused woods are finely shaped to coordinate with the scale and atmosphere of the surrounding environment, thereby promoting the inheritance and protection of local handicrafts in subtle ways.
