Farum Midtpunkt Activity park
The urban, activity park in the centre of the city, Farum, is created with a focus on movement, way-finding and forming a safe, homely environment. The park is placed within an extraordinary and large social housing area from the 1970s and was designed in close contact with the residents.

Theactivitypark demonstrates a fine balance between practicality and aesthetics.Table tennis, climbing walls and trampolines are just a few of the facilities bringing children together in the park,while new, creative paths connect the area in innovative ways. Awideslidemakes it easy to get from the shops on thefirst floortothe ground level, while an elevated path runs between the treetopsandliterally offersthe residentsa newway of seeing their homes.Below the treetops and between lush, green plantingsa pathway of steelcreates newtiesin the area, while bringing the residents closer to the surrounding nature.
