今年纽约皇后郡农场秋收的新主题，是一座巨大的迷宫！虽然看似杂乱无章，但是却是用玉米制造的欧洲古老迷宫。人们可以从上方看到通路，但是当身临其境时，只会觉得玉米田上下摆动。同时该农场还有其他庆祝项目，如：干草游戏机，南瓜采摘，新鲜苹果酒畅饮，抚摸动物和了解农场新鲜作物。

With social media, cell phones and the burden of constantly being connected to the world, don't you ever feel like you just want to get lost? And wouldn't that experience be heightened if it took place in a giant field of corn? Well, that's exactly what the Queens County Farm Museum promises with its Amazing Maize Maze, a 3-acre, interactive labyrinth of corn! Read on to see photos of last year's maze and see how you can visit this year to conquer it for yourself.
The Amazing Maize Maze is a special treat that the Queens County Farm Museum organizes every year as part of their fall program. The maze is different every year – this year’s theme is “Big Top” – and the seemingly haphazard pathways have been carefully planned and laid out to be as confusing as they are comedic (each team is given a tall, colored flag so that they can be seen from above bobbing through the field). The result is very similar to the famous hedge mazes of Europe except, you know, made out of corn. In addition to simply trying to find their way out of the puzzle, participants are also tasked with finding clues and solving riddles to aid their escape.
While the Maize Maze is challenging (we actually found we underestimated it quite a bit), you’ll eventually make it out alive, so don’t miss all of the other wonderful activities the only working historic farm in the five boroughs has to offer. The Amazing Maize Maze will be open Saturdays & Sundays until October 27th (and on Monday, October 14th) from 11 am – 4:30 pm (last ticket is sold at 4:30 pm).
