We all need eco-friendly structures. Users of innovative, energy-efficient buildings save on heating bills, while the local community enjoys healthy and clean air. The project of four modern buildings completed in Chicago meets all these objectives. It takes advantage of advanced technical solutions, materials and products to create a friendly and healthy environment.
Photovoltaic panels providing electricity for households have been installed on the flat roofs of these simple, timeless structures. The project creators apply for the LEED certificate for these buildings. This distinction is granted to structures that comply with stringent requirements in terms of energy consumption, thermal comfort and natural interior lighting.
Access roof lights that meet requirements

The project also required the use of access roof lights featuring very good technical parameters and suitable visual qualities. The DRF flat access roof lights from FAKRO, with interior illumination function, fit these buildings perfectly. Excellent heat transfer coefficient combined with solid and safe design ensure comfort of use for many years to come. What is more, exceptionally aesthetic sashes stand behind elegant appearance of access roof lights, complementing all their advantages. Thanks to their qualities, DRF access roof lights provide convenient access to the roof and add to the aesthetics of buildings.
