参数化立面的雕塑感表达与城市对话：建筑外立面采用了参数化设计的网格和浮雕，这种处理方式赋予了立面既规整又生动的视觉效果。由与层高齐平的白色预制混凝土构成的雕塑感立面，既是现代设计的体现，又通过其体量和韵律巧妙地呼应了老城区的传统立面形象。这种精妙的“俏皮”手法，使得新建筑在城市界面上实现了与历史环境的积极对话。
The St. John of God Hospital in Eggenberg was demolished and integrated into the new site in the Marschallgasse area in the center of Graz. This means that in addition to the restoration of the original elements of the hospital, its appearance will also be updated to harmonize with the historic old town area.

The most representative of these renovations is the addition of two major components. By creating a coherent and spacious inner courtyard, various architectural elements are connected into a large whole, improving a situation that was not entirely satisfactory from an urban planning and architectural perspective. The courtyard was cleared, and a linear building structure was designed to relate to the existing building in a specific and precise manner.
这些改造措施中最具有代表性的就是添加了两大部分。通过创造一个连贯、宽敞的内院，将各种建筑元素连接成了一个大的整体，使原本从城市规划和建筑角度来看不尽如人意的局面得到了改善。庭院得到清理，一个线性的建筑结构也被设计出来，以一种特定而精确的方式与现有的建筑关联。

Elements that were structurally and design-wise problematic were removed and replaced by elements consistent with the new design. The new building forms an enclosed ring around the courtyard, solving structural and functional issues while integrating well with the surrounding environment. The flat roof was designed as a roof garden, providing a place for patients and staff to stay and relax.
结构上和设计上有问题的元素被拆除，取而代之的是与新设计一致的元素。新的建筑是围绕着院子的一圈的封闭环形，解决了结构与功能的问题，同时也与周围的环境很好地结合在一起。平屋顶被设计成屋顶花园，成为病人和工作人员停留和放松的地方。

The exterior walls feature a parametrically designed grid and relief, where faces and lines interact neatly and vividly. The sculptural facade, composed of white precast concrete elements the height of the floor slabs, playfully echoes the facade imagery of the old town area.
