The building is designed as a simple combination of low-carbon concrete slabs, beams, and columns. Its superimposed outdoor spaces integrate with the urban logic of the area, such as streets and small and large urban squares, surrounded by agricultural windbreaks to protect users from drafts. The entire complex "breathes" naturally, minimizing building elements such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and artificial lighting, thus maximizing lightness and economy. A total of 900,000 kWh can be saved annually, reducing electricity consumption by 56% compared to an identical covered project, while also saving 2270 tons of CO2, equivalent to 63% of the CO2 emissions generated during construction.

The materials and colors of this building are intentionally kept simple. It uses a simple, low-carbon PMES cement CEM3 concrete structure, merely supporting the future use by its users. Significant elements such as the reception desk, stairs, and bleachers have received great attention. They encourage users to walk around the building, further reducing the need for an attic space. These connecting spaces within the building are themselves a place.

The roof also hosts a golf practice range and venues for sporting events and festivals. The building is open to everyone, and each person can enjoy spectacular views of the city center and the vineyards from here, highlighting the building's role as a geographical component of the Bordeaux region.
