This building is unique in that it was initially planned as a rugby stadium but was transformed into a theater during the planning process, while incorporating 31,000 square meters of office space into its architectural structure. Located in the heart of the city, surrounded by streets on all four sides, it lies on the main axis between La Défense and Nanterre, set against a spectacular backdrop of skyscrapers. The exterior of the building exudes a sense of gentle horizontality, thanks to its shell composed of glass and aluminum panels that shimmer in the sunlight, forming an elegant curve with its towering white concrete tiers.

This softness on the surface sharply contrasts with the vast space felt upon entering the interior, where the 40-meter-high vault is breathtaking. As a stadium, Paris La Défense Arena could accommodate 30,400 seats and served as the home ground for the Racing 92 rugby team. This capacity made it the largest indoor venue in Europe and the second-largest indoor stadium in the world. Beyond its size, the stadium is distinguished by its unique design, featuring a fixed roof and a multi-purpose floor whose artificial turf can be covered with panels in 11 hours to transform it into a concert hall. Furthermore, it is equipped with meticulously designed visual comfort and a special acoustic system, along with a giant 1,400 square meter screen.

The roof, composed of four giant beams, is erected on a structure with a massive span of 150 by 110 meters. At night, the facade wrapped in glass and aluminum panels brings ever-changing colors to the city.
