城市文脉与公共开放性的完美融合：该项目成功地将德国西南广播公司（SWR）新媒体中心置于曼海姆北区内卡河渡口的战略位置，使其成为新社区开发的起点和城市天际线的亮点。建筑通过开放透明的玻璃幕墙设计，不仅彰显了媒体机构的公共责任感和透明度，更模糊了内部制作流程与外部公共空间之间的界限。设计巧妙地利用城市广场作为互动平台，让公众得以窥见广播制作的奥秘，实现了建筑作为城市地标和社区焦点双重角色的统一。

空间布局与功能流线的精妙组织：建筑的体量处理极具雕塑感，通过跨两层的凸出与凹陷创造了丰富的立面层次，并自然界定了不同的功能区域。功能布局清晰地划分为公共区域（门厅、娱乐中心）、媒体核心（主播台与演播室）和行政办公区，层级分明。特别是利用中空空间和开放式楼梯加强了楼层间的连接和交流，确保了多媒体工作流程的高效顺畅，体现了对现代媒体工作模式深刻的理解和适配。

透明性、互动性与环境的深度对话：建筑的立面处理是其精髓所在。垂直铝制壁柱条分割的玻璃幕墙，保证了视觉穿透性，使广播电台的运作状态成为城市景观的一部分。同时，面向广场的一层设置了可供一窥内部的互动空间，而错落的体量也为员工创造了面向城市的观景阳台。这种内外兼修的设计哲学，不仅体现了对员工工作环境的关怀，也强化了SWR作为公共媒体机构对社会开放与连接的承诺。

Openness, transparency, and responsibility – this is what we expect from the media world, and it is also reflected in the new media center designed and built for the Südwestrundfunk (SWR) in Germany.
开放、透明与责任 —— 这是我们对媒体世界的期许，也体现在为德国西南广播公司（Südwestrundfunk，简称 SWR）设计打造的新媒体中心之中。

At the bridgehead location of the Neckar ferry in the northern part of Mannheim, the new SWR broadcasting building stands with an image of "open transparency." As the opening act of the new residential development project Schafweide, this confident, independent building presents itself as a striking high point, cleverly mediating its relationship with the diverse neighbors in the urban space. At the same time, thanks to its excellent location, the SWR building is highly visible to passing traffic.
在曼海姆北区内卡河渡口的桥头堡位置，SWR 新演播大楼以“开放透明”之姿矗立。作为施阿夫韦德（Schafweide）新社区开发项目的开篇之作，这座自信独立的建筑以醒目的制高点形式呈现，在城市空间中巧妙调和着与周边各异邻舍的关系。同时，凭借其优越的地理位置，SWR 大楼在过往车流中也尽显瞩目风姿。

The urban square in front of the community not only serves the urban planning function of connecting open spaces and opening the community towards the tree-lined Neckar riverbanks but is also endowed with the substance of an interactive platform, offering people a glimpse into the secrets of "broadcast production." Combined with the casino (staff recreation area for the broadcasting company) and the outdoor terrace facing the square, the boundaries between daily broadcasting life and public space become blurred. The glass facades surrounding the building, divided by vertical aluminum pilasters, allow an unobstructed view of the radio station's non-stop operation day and night, while also closely connecting the media workers with the surrounding environment.
社区前的城市广场，不仅承担着连接开放空间、将社区向绿树成荫的内卡河畔敞开的城市规划功能，更被赋予了互动平台的内涵，为人们提供了一窥“广播制作”奥秘的空间。与娱乐中心（casino，此处指广播公司内部员工休闲场所）及面向广场的户外露台相结合，日常演播生活与公共空间的界限变得模糊。大楼四面环绕的玻璃幕墙，由垂直铝制壁柱条分割，既可让人一览无余地观赏广播电台日夜不息的运作，又让媒体工作者与周边环境紧密相连。

In this six-story building, about 60 employees are responsible for providing listeners with comprehensive reports and the latest information. The building volume is formed by projecting and receding parts spanning two floors, giving the building a sculptural visual effect.
在这座共六层的建筑中，约 60 名员工负责为听众提供全面报道和最新资讯。建筑体量由跨两层的凸出与凹陷部分构成，赋予建筑雕塑般的视觉效果。

On the square level, this forms a sheltered forecourt for the main entrance and the casino. Due to the staggered nature of the building, the fourth floor features city view balconies facing west and north. According to the building volume, the functional areas can be analogized to a three-story combination, divided into three zones. The first two floors are public areas – foyer, casino, conference center. The core of the media building – the anchor desk and studios – occupies the middle two floors, spanning the entire floor. The administrative offices are located on the upper two floors.
在广场层，这形成了主入口和娱乐中心遮风挡雨、有顶棚的前庭。由于建筑错落有致，第四层设有面向西、北两侧的城市观景阳台。根据建筑体量，功能区域可类比三层组合，划分为三个区域。首两层为公共区域 —— 门厅、娱乐中心、会议中心。媒体大楼的核心 —— 主播台与演播室，占据中间两层，贯通整个楼面。行政办公区则位于上方两层。

Section

Office areas and employee workstations are flexibly configured between "open spaces" and individual offices according to the needs of regional organization. Various atriums and open staircases connect the floors, and together with open communication areas, ensure the smooth flow of multimedia workflows.
办公区域和员工工位根据区域灵活组织的需要，在“开放空间”与独立办公室之间灵活配置。多样的中空空间和开放式楼梯连接各楼层，与开放的交流区域一道，确保了多媒体工作流程的顺畅。

Whether viewed from the outside or the inside, the SWR project radiates the characteristics of a vibrant media building, and this independent building firmly anchors itself in the new urban community through its urban design approach.
无论是从外部还是内部审视，SWR 项目都散发着活力四射的媒体建筑特质，而这座独立建筑也通过其城市设计手法，在新城市社区中稳稳扎根。
