There is no game facility in the playground initially located on a large bare concrete floor.
The project weaves a structure in the shape of an infinity symbol ∞ around the two existing trees on the site. A series of games are set up under this structure: first bamboo pole climbing, then fishnet climbing, monkey bars, sitting on swings, and finally, Burmese-style hopscotch, which are repeated in sequence. These games combine to create an infinitely long obstacle course.

The entire structure is made of three different varieties of bamboo: Dendrocalamus giganteus for the frame, Oxytenanthera albocialiata Munro for the curved elements, and Thysostachys siamensis for the supports and roof beams. The two openings of the ∞ shape house the existing trees and seating areas for teachers to monitor the children while resting.

Two identical curved LED strips are installed under the ∞ element structure. This ambient lighting indirectly illuminates the playground at night, reflecting off the white tarpaulin roof. During the day, the tarpaulin filters sunlight, creating a soft and comfortable play environment. The height of the roof is determined by various parameters: the type of game below; the access for teachers to the seating area; the view from adjacent buildings to other parts of the playground; and the provision of a clear path for vehicles to access the entire courtyard.

The entire concrete floor is painted with white lines outlining the shape of the ∞. The two-dimensional topography creates an imaginative play landscape. They are precisely drawn using AR technology, Twinbuild on HoloLens 2, in reference to the surroundings. The playground is intentionally not prescriptive about how children should play; it only serves as a foundation for children to intuitively invent their own games and embark on an infinite adventure journey.
