Inverted architecture, Hubertus hotel expansion/noa*

From the architect. Noa * (Network of Architecture) proposed this cantilevered 'wooden cabin hub' health center during the expansion of the Hubertus hotel located in South Tyrol. The expansion project is known as "Heaven and Hell" due to its mirrored design, showcasing a platform that extends outward to the edge of a cliff, including a set of small wooden houses that are upside down.

This gravity defying expansion measure adds a lot of color to the Italian hotel built by Noah * in 2016, and it also makes the swimming pool on the cantilever platform seem to blend in with the vast scenery.

The 'Wooden Center' health center designed by Noa * is a small mountain dwelling group that seems to be suspended in the sky of the Dolomite scenic area, and walking through it reminds people of the atmosphere of an Italian mountain village.

The "Heaven and Hell" shelter provides guests of the Hubertus hotel with a dual spa experience, and the architect's design fully demonstrates the degree of fit with its nickname. The upper level of the wooden house features a whirlpool pool where guests can lie or sit, experiencing vast scenery and abundant sunlight for a full rest.

Challenging Structure of the "Wooden House Center"
Noa * aided its design with the introduction of a swimming pool and the relationship between the "wooden house center" and water. The inverted building implies reflections on the mirrored lake, and the swimming pool on the central platform seems to be a new horizon in this building.. Through this suspended swimming pool and inverted building, the Hubertus Hotel is symbolically continued, and this structural engineering is impressive.

Noa * has taken this concept to the extreme in structural design, with a set of huge columns hanging outwards to support the steel platform, and the asymmetrical cabins on both sides showcasing the challenges faced by this structure.
