The TAIYO TSUBOMI sauna complex is located on the west coast of the World Expo Park and is an experimental building that embodies the design concepts of "resonance with nature" and "awakening of synesthesia". It opens up an immersive natural experience for visitors through its architectural form, spatial atmosphere, and unique sauna ceremony.
“太阳花蕾”（TAIYO TSUBOMI）桑拿综合体坐落于世博园西侧海滨，是一座实验性建筑，诠释了“与自然共鸣”及“联觉觉醒”的设计理念。其通过建筑形态、空间氛围与独特的桑拿仪式，为访客开启一场沉浸式自然体验。

The complex is located on an open platform surrounded by greenery and consists of three membrane structural units with different shapes: a sauna cabin shaped like flower buds, wrapped in heat waves, a resting hall bathed in light and breeze, and a cold water bath suspended under the balloon dome. These units form a resonant dialogue with nature - swaying gently with the wind, reflecting the sunlight, and circulating colors in the sunset, creating a harmonious and symbiotic sauna experience with lush vegetation.
综合体坐落于开放平台之上，四周绿意环绕，由三个形态各异的膜结构单元构成：形如花苞、裹挟热浪的桑拿舱，沐浴于光影与清风中的休憩厅，以及悬浮于气球穹顶下的冷水浴池。这些单元与自然形成共振对话 —— 随风轻摆、映照天光、在夕阳中流转色彩，与葱郁植被共同营造出和谐共生的桑拿体验。

Under the guidance of the sauna master, participants will experience the "11 layers of sauna ceremony", breaking through the boundaries of traditional saunas through immersive storytelling and progressive steps, integrating sensory stimuli such as light, sound, fragrance, and heat.
在桑拿师的引导下，参与者将体验“11 重桑拿仪式”，通过沉浸式叙事与渐进式步骤，融合光影、声效、香氛与热感的感官刺激，突破传统桑拿的边界。

This innovative membrane structure building is composed of tetrahedral air membrane units, using only lightweight aluminum frames, ETFE films, and air as materials. The minimalist framework structure wraps around the maximum air volume, ensuring excellent stability and insulation performance while achieving lightweight suspension at a height of 8 meters. The modular ETFE system has high adaptability and can be compactly stored after pressure relief, making it easy to migrate and reuse.
该创新膜结构建筑由四面体空气膜单元构成，仅以轻质铝框、ETFE 薄膜与空气为材料。极简的框架结构包裹最大空气体量，在保证卓越稳定性与隔热性能的同时，实现 8 米高度的轻盈悬浮。模块化 ETFE 系统具备高度适应性，泄压后可紧凑收纳，便于迁移与复用。

The ETFE film with frosted texture can soften the light and lock in the warmth inside the sauna cabin. Unlike traditional wooden interiors, the sauna cabin is entirely made of semi transparent materials, which absorb solar energy for heating during the day and transform into a transparent light and shadow space at night. This gentle and dynamic architectural system fully unleashes the toughness and transparency of ETFE film.
磨砂质感的 ETFE 膜既能柔化光线，又可锁住桑拿舱内的温暖。与传统木质内饰不同，桑拿舱内部全采用半透明材质，日间吸收太阳能增温，夜间则化为通透的光影空间。这一轻柔而灵动的建筑体系，充分释放了 ETFE 膜的韧性与透光性。

In addition, the project also uses innovative materials such as concrete canvas (water hardening fabric) and 3D printed concrete to shape the organic form of the cold water bath. This design that integrates precision membrane technology into the power of nature has opened up a new paradigm for sauna architecture, resonating deeply with the positioning of the World Expo as the "Future Society Laboratory".
此外，项目还采用了混凝土帆布（遇水硬化型织物）与 3D 打印混凝土等创新材料，用于塑造有机形态的冷水浴池。这种将精密膜技术融入自然力量的设计，为桑拿建筑开辟了全新范式，与世博会“未来社会实验室”的定位深度共鸣。
