From the architect. Annette K is a living space dedicated to promoting physical and mental health. This project aims to create a space for bathing and leisure, reminiscent of Deligny's long disappeared swimming pool or Impressionist era water fantasies. The charm of this project lies in its proximity to the Seine River, where people can bask in the sunshine and quietly feel the passage of time.

This building and the suspended Nordic swimming pool seem to be placed on a barge. Wood, steel, and glass enhance the feeling of sailing. The building drew a smooth line on the horizon of green trees and white buildings on the right bank. The concept of Nordic swimming pools reinforces the feeling of living outdoors and between different scenes (such as swimming in the rain or on cold winter nights), with only a few enclosed spaces on the rooftop terrace. All the heat provided by the swimming pool is used to warm all the spaces on the lower deck. Surrounding the terrace, a runway creates a dynamic circular shape for the building, providing a slender silhouette and a 360 degree view.

The structure of the swimming pool is made of stainless steel and is envisioned as double-sided - one side features an Olympic standard swimming pool, while the other side is the infrastructure of the deck space, with all structural supports exposed like spiders, supporting walls, panels, conductive air or pipelines. This exposed structure makes all infrastructure visible. Water can be perceived through the portholes, and light can enter during the day, combining with the reflection of the Seine River. When sunlight shines in from all directions, the reflection on the water surface shines brightly, creating a visual experience similar to Impressionist painting.
