Design an open area in the center of each ward to create a bright and ventilated environment, with strong visual and physical connections to adjacent external gardens and courtyards. The layout usually allows for an easy overview of the ward entrance and most of the patient circulation areas, and the design aims to eliminate blind corners as much as possible.

The edges of the room and central corridor are equipped with fixed and movable furniture, as well as various seating areas for relaxation and socializing. The exterior facade and elements are made of sturdy and high-quality materials, selected for their compatibility, aesthetics, durability, and sustainability, while considering their environmental impact and cost throughout their lifecycle. Two tone brick masonry is the main material used in construction, integrated with neighboring buildings listed on the protection list.
