This residence is designed for two families (parents and children) and is located on a relatively spacious plot of land in a densely populated residential area near the station. The low eaves give this two-story residence an appearance similar to a single story building.
这栋住宅专为两户家庭（父母与子女）设计，坐落于车站附近人口稠密住宅区中一块相对宽敞的地块上。低矮的屋檐使这栋两层住宅呈现出类似单层建筑的外观效果。

Therefore, we were able to expand the room layout to the upper limit of plot ratio while still creating a spacious exterior effect. The concave design of the roof forms multiple functional openings, including balconies, outdoor storage spaces, and skylights.
因此，我们得以将房间布局扩展至容积率上限，同时仍营造出富有空间感的外观效果。屋顶的凹陷设计形成了多个功能性开口，包括阳台、户外储物空间以及天窗。

A courtyard is set up above the living room, so that even if people are in the living room, they can be aware of what is happening upstairs. This layout allows parents and children to maintain an appropriate distance while also protecting their respective privacy spaces. A skylight is installed above the atrium, allowing natural light to flow into the living room on the first floor.
客厅上方设置中庭，如此一来，人们即便身处客厅，也能知晓楼上发生的情况。这种布局让父母与孩子既能保持恰到好处的距离，又能守护各自的隐私空间。中庭上方装设了天窗，让自然光得以洒落至一楼的客厅。

Instead of building high walls to gain visibility, it is better to introduce light, breeze, and activity space from the unobstructed roof above, which is a more suitable form for urban residential needs. The resulting two-story appearance resembles a single story building, displaying a broad and non oppressive posture that blends harmoniously with the surrounding environment while creating an independent and rich living space above. This provides a possibility for residential design in densely built cities.
与其筑起高墙来换取视野，不如从上方无遮挡的屋顶引入光线、清风与活动空间，这才是更契合城市住宅需求的形式。由此形成的两层外观酷似单层建筑，展现出一种宽厚而不显压迫的姿态，既与周边环境和谐相融，又在上方营造出一方独立且丰富的居住空间。这为建筑密集的城市提供了一种住宅设计的可能性。
