Jinyu Xingfa Technology Park has transformed an old cement plant in Huairou Science City, Beijing into an international cutting-edge research and development base through renovation. This multifunctional technology park covers an area of approximately 36 hectares and features the preservation of 54 original buildings.
金宇兴发科技园通过对北京怀柔科学城内一处旧水泥厂进行改造,摇身一变成为国际前沿研发基地。这座多功能科技园区占地面积约 36 公顷,其特色在于保留了 54 栋原有建筑。

These buildings have been revitalized and functionally reshaped, and accurately integrated into the newly constructed parts, and have now become the location of the Beijing Mathematical Science Research Center. Nowadays, this newly revitalized park is equipped with laboratories, research facilities, and units for researchers and students to live in.
这些建筑经过活化改造与功能重塑,并精准融入新建部分,现已成为北京数学科学研究中心所在地。如今,这座正逐步焕发生机的新园区内,设有实验室、科研设施以及供研究人员和学生居住的单元。

This design embodies the concept of sustainable renewal, telling the industrial history of the site while continuing its historical legacy. The design will integrate the north-south freight railway into the landscape and cultural context, making it the backbone that runs through the entire park, connecting all functional areas including Yanqi Lake Applied Mathematics Research Institute, management area, research institute, expert studio area, and office incubator.
该设计彰显了可持续的更新理念,既讲述了场地的工业历史,又延续了其历史传承。设计将贯穿场地南北的货运铁路融入景观与文化脉络,使之成为贯穿全园的脊梁,串联起所有功能区域:包括雁栖湖应用数学研究院、管理区、研究所、专家工作室区以及办公孵化器。

To implement the guiding principle of "maximum preservation", personalized treatment must be carried out for the structure and characteristics of each building, and customized renovation plans must be developed. Specifically, it includes transforming the cone-shaped tent warehouse into a multifunctional exhibition hall, transforming the limestone homogenization warehouse into a large laboratory, transforming the belt conveyor corridor and storage building into a teaching building, and transforming the cement packaging platform into a scientific archives museum.
为贯彻“最大限度保留”的指导原则,必须针对每栋建筑的构造与特色进行个性化处理,并量身定制改造方案。具体包括:将锥形帐篷式仓库改造成多功能展览厅,把石灰石均化库转型为大型实验室,将皮带输送长廊与仓储建筑变为教学楼,以及把水泥包装平台转化为科学档案博物馆。

最具挑战性的任务之一,是在既有的大型筒仓结构框架内融入新的居住功能,同时配套设置休闲区、日常便利商店、餐厅以及会议设施。

To meet the new functional requirements, the park has added facilities such as a library, large lecture halls, sports halls, mathematician studios, exhibition halls, and staff canteens. Among them, the library adopts a stepped design, cleverly connecting the three levels of space and creating diverse activity platforms; The lecture hall is built along the mountain terrain, with multiple lecture halls and multifunctional spaces inside.
为契合新功能需求,园区新增了图书馆、大型讲堂、体育馆、数学家工作室、展览厅以及员工食堂等设施。其中,图书馆采用阶梯式设计,巧妙连通三层空间,打造出多样化的活动平台;讲堂则依山势而建,内部设有多个演讲厅及多功能空间。

The Mathematician Gymnasium is the main venue for conducting sports activities. Nowadays, the project has transformed the once rugged industrial site into a vibrant multifunctional technology park, creating an attractive and nature friendly environment for living, studying, and working.
数学家体育馆是开展体育活动的主要场所。如今,该项目已将昔日崎岖难至的工业场地,转变为充满活力的多功能科技园区,为生活、学习和工作营造出富有吸引力、亲近自然的环境。
