The newly completed Vantage development project aims to cultivate significant discoveries that will shape the biotechnology industry. It provides a cutting-edge innovation park specifically designed for life sciences, serving academic, commercial, and industrial technology research institutions in the region.

The Vantage campus will officially open in 2024 in the core area of the South San Francisco Biotechnology Corridor. The park has a five story and a six story building with a total construction area of 322000 square feet, equipped with state-of-the-art life science laboratories and office facilities. Both buildings offer flexible floor layouts, allowing tenants to adjust according to their own needs and workspace configurations.

The social center of the park is the 42000 square foot supporting facility building - The Hangar, which has become one of the most popular gathering places in the community. Here, there are facilities such as a rooftop full-service bar, a specialty food court that gathers local chefs, meeting spaces, and a fitness center. This two-story building is arranged around a central giant staircase and features an informal lounge seating area in a double story high open lobby. Its modern design inspiration comes from aircraft hangars, and this high-end supporting facility building not only pays tribute to the region's long industrial history, but also highlights its position as the birthplace of biotechnology. The exterior wall design of the building is flexible and easy to connect with outdoor spaces; The exterior is covered with metal panels and equipped with large glass openings, continuing the architectural style characteristics of other buildings in the park.

The iconic sculptural building volume and unique facade design of Vantage Park anchor the visual focus of the park entrance and intersections with its modern aesthetic style. This prominent six story building is cantilevered outward layer by layer, extending towards the northeast corner of the site, forming an iconic shape; And another five story building subtly continues this architectural language, making the architectural style of the entire park seamlessly integrated and presenting a unified aesthetic characteristic.

The design inspiration for the glass color and reflectivity of the building facade comes from the concept of crystal structure. When viewers walk around between two buildings, they will see the exterior walls of the building seem to be changing and flowing between reality and transparency. The strip-shaped decorative fins, glass glaze dot patterns, and solid window walls configured on the glass curtain wall together form an efficient system: in winter, it can absorb solar heat to the maximum extent, while in summer, it effectively reduces heat absorption. At the same time, it optimizes the distribution of natural lighting on the floor plan throughout the year, thereby reducing the energy consumption load of HVAC systems and artificial lighting.

The master plan covers a total area of over 1.6 million square feet and plans to build six buildings, each designed according to LEED Gold certification standards. After full completion, Vantage Park will represent the benchmark of the new generation of life sciences industry, providing tenants with sustainable growth space for the future.
