The development project is located on the APE 18.05 La Rosilla plot in Villa de Vallecas, Madrid, Spain, with a maximum usable residential area of 6500 square meters. The maximum building depth of the plot is 12 meters, and the planning specifications allow the building height at the west end of the plot to be the ground floor+7 floors (VIII floor), and the east end to be the ground floor+4 floors (V floor). The project design fully optimized these conditions.

The design scheme adopts a simple orthogonal block layout, emphasizing rationality, construction convenience, and cost-effectiveness. According to regulatory requirements, the project consists of two independent volumes: a ground floor+7-story tower on the west side and a long strip building with ground floor+4-story on the east side. The two are arranged in a "T" shape and are interconnected at the bottom layer.

The building is designed based on several key principles. Firstly, ensure that all apartments have ventilation through the air. According to the Residential Code Requirements (NRP) of the Madrid Social Housing Company (EMVS), three bedroom and four bedroom units must meet this requirement, and two bedroom units are also strongly recommended. In a rectangular building, all apartments have two opposing facades that allow for direct ventilation and convection; In the tower, two vertical facades can achieve 90 degree cross ventilation.

As an alternative, all units are designed with a dual orientation, and each vertical transportation core only serves two apartments on each floor, ensuring space utilization efficiency and quality.
