改造与历史的对话：该项目最显著的亮点在于对80年历史建筑的尊重与创新。设计师并非简单地进行翻新，而是深入挖掘了建筑的历史文脉。通过保留原有的结构元素，并在外部空间的设计中巧妙地回应了当地购物街的特殊环境——原拱廊的拆除，创造性地利用了两层空白空间作为入口，这不仅为建筑赋予了独特的外观，也巧妙地解决了原有建筑的结构问题，兼顾了实用性与美观性。这种设计手法体现了对历史的尊重，也为建筑注入了新的生命力。

空间层次与光影的艺术：该项目的精髓在于对空间层次和光影的巧妙运用。设计师通过“插入两层空白空间”的设计手法，成功地营造了既开放又私密的空间氛围。这种设计不仅仅是外观上的创新，更重要的是它对内部空间进行了微妙的分割，使得光线能够以独特的方式进入，形成丰富的光影变化。从餐厅内部望出去，这种设计带来了独特的视觉体验，也提升了顾客的用餐感受。这种对空间和光线的精准把握，展现了设计师对建筑语言的深刻理解。

功能性与美学的统一：项目成功地将功能性需求与美学追求融为一体。外部门廊的设计既取代了拱廊的功能，提供了遮风挡雨的实用性，又强化了建筑的结构，确保了安全性。同时，这种设计又与建筑本身的历史感相融合，赋予了建筑独特的韵味。入口空间的设计也实现了内外空间的过渡，为顾客创造了温馨的氛围。这种设计理念体现了建筑设计中对功能性、结构、美学三者兼顾的卓越追求，展现了设计师在细节上的精益求精。

This project involves renovating an 80 year old residential property with a shop located in the corner of a shopping street in Ogawa cho, Saitama Prefecture. The customer's grandmother used to run a beauty salon here, while the customer himself previously ran an Italian restaurant in Tokyo and hopes to relocate here and reopen the restaurant.
该项目涉及对埼玉县小川町一条购物街角落中一家拥有 80 年历史的带店铺住宅进行翻新。客户的祖母曾在此经营一家美容院，而客户本人之前在东京经营一家意大利餐厅，希望迁至此地并重开餐厅。

At the same time as the project was launched, it was also decided to demolish the arcade above the pedestrian walkway on the shopping street in stages. The arcade is of the same height as the first floor of the building, dividing the two-story buildings on both sides of the shopping street into two. However, after removing the arcade, the true height of each building was revealed for the first time. We are considering using this as an opportunity to plan and have decided to create a two-story external space as the entrance, which was previously difficult to achieve.
项目启动的同时，也决定分阶段拆除购物街上的步行道上方拱廊。拱廊与建筑一层等高，将购物街两旁的二层建筑一分为二，但拆除拱廊后，首次显现出各建筑的真实高度。我们思考能否以此为契机进行规划，并决定打造一处两层高的外部空间作为入口，这在以往是难以实现的体验。

The entrance space formed by inserting two layers of blank space on the outside creates an impressive appearance for the building, while also serving as a canopy to replace the function of the arcade and reinforcing the existing structure. The inserted entrance space gently divides the internal space, creating a warm atmosphere that is both visible and hidden. Looking from the restaurant seating area, it has a unique flavor.
通过在外侧插入两层空白空间而形成的入口空间，为建筑创造了令人印象深刻的外观，同时作为雨棚取代了拱廊的功能，还起到对现有建筑的结构加固作用。插入的入口空间柔和地划分了内部空间，营造出一种既可见又隐秘的温馨氛围，从餐厅座位区望去，别有一番风味。
