设计理念与文化传承：该项目的核心亮点在于其对巴厘岛传统建筑文化的深刻理解与创新性演绎。设计师巧妙地从巴厘岛传统的“巴莱”建筑中汲取灵感，这种建筑通常作为多功能集会场所，并以其独特的屋顶形态与自然环境相呼应。项目通过将这种形式放大，创造了一个巨大的屋顶结构，不仅为整个校园提供了遮蔽，也赋予了建筑独特的视觉特征。这种设计手法体现了对当地文化的尊重，并将传统元素融入现代建筑设计，形成了一种和谐的融合，是该项目最令人称道的精髓之一。

空间布局与功能整合：项目的空间布局设计巧妙地平衡了实用性与美学，展现出极高的专业水准。建筑以两条相交的轴线为基础，一条水平轴线赋予建筑水平延展的特性，另一条斜向轴线则指向阿贡火山，强化了建筑与环境之间的联系。这种设计手法不仅塑造了独特的空间序列，也引导了人流的动线，使得建筑内部的各个功能区域有机地联系在一起。从商业空间、博物馆到共享办公区、教室，再到露天剧场和露台，各种功能被巧妙地整合在一个整体框架下，为使用者提供了丰富的体验。

The UID campus located on Kulakula Island in Bali, Indonesia is a comprehensive facility that integrates commercial, educational, office, and event functions. The building faces the sacred Mount Agung, the highest peak in Bali.

In the overall logic of the planning definition, the building is based on two intersecting axes: one is a horizontal line, giving the building the characteristic of horizontal extension; The other is the diagonal axis, which points directly at the Agung volcano and cuts into the building, running diagonally through the longitudinal form of the building and guiding its spatial layout.
在规划定义的总体逻辑上，该建筑以两条相交的轴线为基准：一条是水平线，赋予建筑水平延伸的特点；另一条是斜向轴线，直指阿贡火山并切入建筑，斜向贯穿建筑的纵向形态，并引导其空间布局。

The design inspiration comes from the traditional Bale architecture in Bali, which is a traditional Balinese thatched herringbone roof structure often seen as a multifunctional hall where people gather. The Bale architecture forms its unique roof form by symbolically pointing towards the mountains and sky. Willis Kusuma Architects drew inspiration from this traditional form and enlarged it into an upper level structure, creating a massive roof that provides shade for all functional areas.

This design fully considers the tropical environment and takes inspiration from Bali's heritage to create modern facilities. As its name suggests, the various functional areas within the diverse inclusive campus of Kulakula, Bali are divided into independent brick volumes supported by steel columns to the roof, creating open outdoor spaces inside and outside sturdy units - these spaces are influenced by weather conditions and create a sense of transparency.
该设计充分考虑了热带环境，以巴厘岛遗产为灵感，打造出现代化设施。正如其名，巴厘岛库拉库拉多元共融校园内的各种功能区域被划分为独立的砖砌体量，这些体量由钢柱支撑至屋顶，在坚固单元内外创造出开放的露天空间——这些空间受天气条件影响，营造出通透感。

The first floor has commercial functions and a small museum. The second and third floors are shared office space and classrooms, respectively, while the third floor also has private office space, functional hall, and media room. Indoor and outdoor open-air theaters provide venues for informal gatherings. Underneath the roof is a terrace, providing a seating area where you can enjoy the scenery around the island. The interaction between the enclosed brick masonry volume and all outdoor interior spaces located under the same roof creates a unique spatial experience that dynamically attracts building users through visual and auditory connections.
一楼设有商业功能和一个小型博物馆。二楼和三楼分别是共享办公空间和教室，而三楼还设有私人办公空间、功能厅和媒体室。室内和室外露天剧场为非正式聚会提供了场所。屋顶下方是露台，提供座位区域，可欣赏岛屿周围的景色。封闭的砖砌体量与所有位于同一屋顶下的露天内部空间之间的互动，创造了一种独特的空间体验，通过视觉和听觉联系，动态地吸引建筑使用者。
