循环经济的设计理念：Early Yuyen咖啡馆的设计核心在于践行循环经济理念，这体现在其对“4R”原则的深入实践：减少（Reduce）、再利用（Reuse）、翻新（Refurbish）和回收（Recycle）。项目伊始便设定了以循环经济为核心的设计框架，强调材料的可拆卸设计，确保材料的长期可再利用性，这体现了设计者对可持续发展的深刻理解。这种设计理念不仅体现在建筑材料的选择上，更贯穿于整个设计过程，从现场勘查到家具翻新，都体现了对现有资源的尊重和再利用，最大程度地减少了对新材料的依赖。

对现有材料的巧妙改造与再利用： 项目在改造过程中，充分保留了原有建筑结构中的可用部分，例如建筑的结构组件、原有家具。设计团队有意识地对现有建筑构件进行保留和再利用，这不仅减少了原材料的消耗，还赋予了空间独特的历史感和地域特色。回收的窗户和门框以互锁的方式巧妙地应用于咖啡馆立面，提供了良好的自然通风和采光，同时赋予了建筑独特的美学特征。此外，回收的屋顶瓦片和地砖也被巧妙地转化为吧台和水磨石材料，展现了设计团队对废弃材料的创造性运用，体现了对材料生命周期的尊重。

可持续材料的创新应用与细节处理： 在材料的选择和运用上，Early Yuyen咖啡馆展现了对可持续材料的创新运用。项目中，由回收牛奶盒制成的Reboard覆层被用作隔断墙和天花板，这种材料不仅环保，而且赋予了空间独特的质感。此外，Ecobrick（由回收碎塑料制成）被装饰于外墙，进一步强化了对回收材料的宣传。咖啡馆的细节处理也体现了对可持续性的追求，例如将回收玻璃瓶和碎片融入水磨石台面。这种对细节的关注，以及对原有家具的翻新，都为咖啡馆营造了一种温暖、舒适、环保的氛围，也为其他设计项目提供了可借鉴的经验。

Design Framework- Based on the successful experience and lessons learned from the first branch, Early BKK continues to collaborate with Space+Craft, an interior architecture design studio in Bangkok, and has developed a more holistic design approach for Early Yuyen.. At the beginning of the project, a seminar was held with the aim of establishing a design framework centered around circular economy. The design follows the 4R principles: Reduce, Reuse, Refurbish, and Recycle, and emphasizes detachable design to ensure the long-term reusability of materials.
设计框架 —— 在第一家分店的成功经验和教训基础上，Early BKK 继续与曼谷的室内建筑设计工作室 space+craft 合作，并为 Early Yuyen 制定了一种更为整体的设计方法。项目初期举办了一次研讨会，旨在建立一个以循环经济为核心的设计框架。设计遵循了 4R 原则：减少（Reduce）、再利用（Reuse）、翻新（翻新或修复）和回收（Recycle），并强调可拆卸设计，以确保材料的长期可再利用性。

Reduce- The principle of reduction aims to preserve existing materials in order to minimize the production of raw materials.. Since the initial on-site inspection, the design team has focused on preserving usable building components. In order to bring about a complete change to this dilapidated place, a balance needs to be struck between aesthetics and preservation. The site was originally a staff canteen, a semi decorated single story building equipped with dining furniture. Decided to retain structural components while recycling furniture for reuse in the new caf é. The surface was dismantled and classified, aluminum profiles were sold for recycling, and some floor tiles were retained for future design use.
减少 —— 减少原则旨在保留现有材料，以最大限度地减少原材料的生产。从初次现场考察开始，设计团队就将重点放在了保留可用的建筑构件上。为了给这个破旧的地方带来彻底的改变，需要在美观和保护之间取得平衡。该场地原为职工食堂，是一栋半装修的单层建筑，配备有餐厅家具。决定保留结构构件，同时回收家具以供新咖啡馆再利用。对表面进行了拆除和分类，出售了铝型材以供回收，并保留了部分地砖以供将来设计使用。

Reuse- The coffee shop uses recycled windows and door frames arranged in an interlocking pattern.. Yuyen "means" comfortable living "in Thai, and this concept is reflected in the design of the interior space of the caf é. The ventilated interior space benefits from the shade cast by tall trees, providing visitors with a semi outdoor experience when the temperature allows. As part of the reuse strategy, the design team collected both openable and fixed windows from the recycling warehouse and incorporated them as design elements. Large openable windows are a key feature of coffee shop facades, not only providing natural ventilation for the interior space, but also serving as a framework to highlight and attract people's attention to the interior of the coffee shop.
再利用 —— 咖啡馆采用回收的窗户和门框，以互锁模式排列。“Yuyen”在泰语中意为“舒适生活”，这一理念在咖啡馆内部空间的设计中得到了体现。通风的内部空间得益于高大树木投下的阴凉，在温度允许的情况下，为到访者提供了半户外的体验。作为再利用策略的一部分，设计团队从回收仓库中回收了可开启窗和固定窗，并将其作为设计元素融入其中。大型可开启窗是咖啡馆立面的关键特征，不仅为内部空间提供自然通风，还作为框架突出并吸引了人们对咖啡馆内部的注意。

Recyclable/Removable Design- The coffee bar is the center of the caf é, featuring decorative elements from recycled glass bottles and shards, integrated into terrazzo countertops, continuing Early's commitment to reducing waste.. The use of Reboard overlay made from high-pressure compacted recycled milk cartons as partition material is another tribute to Early's original caf é. They are used as independent partition walls and modular waffle structure ceilings. These components are equipped with fasteners for easy disassembly. Ecobrick is another fully recycled product exhibited by Early Yuyen. It is made of completely recycled broken plastic and decorated on the exterior walls of the caf é to celebrate the use of recycled materials.
回收/可拆卸设计 —— 咖啡吧台是咖啡馆的中心，采用来自再利用玻璃瓶和玻璃碎片的装饰元素，融入水磨石台面，继续践行 Early 减少浪费的承诺。使用由高压压实的回收牛奶盒制成的 Reboard 覆层作为隔断材料，是对 Early 原始咖啡馆的另一种致敬。它们被用作独立的隔断墙和模块化华夫格结构的天花板。这些构件都安装了紧固件，便于拆卸。Ecobrick 是 Early Yuyen 展出的另一种完全回收的产品。它由完全回收的碎塑料制成，装饰在咖啡馆的外墙上，庆祝回收材料的使用。

Salute to removed elements- In order to pay tribute to the removed existing elements, the design team recycled several elements from the process and reintroduced them as design elements. The design team integrated recycled roof tiles from nearby buildings into the bar counter and repurposed outdated tiles as terrazzo materials. The white and brown texture of the floor complements the rough texture of the Reboard wall cladding and modular waffle structure ceiling with milk carton fragments. The earthy color palette creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere in the caf é, complementing the wooden window frames and furniture.
致敬移除元素 —— 为了向被移除的现有元素致敬，设计团队将过程中的几个元素进行了回收并重新引入作为设计元素。设计团队将附近建筑的回收屋顶瓦片融入吧台，将过时的地砖重新用作水磨石材料。地板的白色和棕色纹理与 Reboard 墙覆层和模块化华夫格结构天花板上牛奶盒碎片的粗糙纹理相得益彰。大地色调的调色板使咖啡馆呈现出温馨舒适的氛围，与木窗框和家具相得益彰。

Renovation- The design team collaborated with Athing, a design studio specializing in recycled furniture, to renovate existing furniture. The existing cafeteria chairs have been renovated with old clothes and canvas to update their appearance and complement the design of the caf é. A new type of movable bench made of recycled plastic covers has been introduced to enhance the multifunctionality of semi outdoor areas.
翻新 —— 设计团队与专注于回收家具的设计工作室 Athing 合作翻新了现有家具。用旧衣服和画布对现有的食堂椅子进行了改造，以更新其外观，与咖啡馆的设计相得益彰。引入了由回收塑料盖制成的新式可移动长椅，以增强半户外区域的多功能性。

Conclusion- Early Yuyen has set an example of how to make meaningful progress in sustainable development through collaboration and holistic approaches.. The design team explored reusable strategies in this project.
