The project is located in the urbanized area of Barcondertajo near the city of Aranjuez, covering an area of approximately 1000 square meters and presenting a rectangular shape. The height difference between the short sides of the plot is up to 5 meters. The south facing view is excellent, offering a vast landscape with the Taho River in the background. The project aims to construct two independent residential buildings, one smaller, apartment type, for Louis to live in alone; The other building has two bedrooms for his sister, brother-in-law, and daughter's family of three to live in. In addition, there is a shared warehouse and a small swimming pool.

This project is a self built house. There are no construction companies, subcontractors, or construction managers, only project management teams. There are only two main responsible persons: Roberto, a template worker (serving as the manager), and Luis, a friend of the homeowner (who knows nothing about architecture and will participate in construction as a laborer).

The selected construction system is convenient for construction and aims to maintain the most comfortable indoor temperature with the lowest possible energy consumption. Both the roof and exterior walls are equipped with ventilation systems. Both of these are crucial for the good moisture and heat performance of the enclosure structure. It has been proven that such a design makes the house easy to heat in winter (with each house equipped with a pellet stove) and cool in summer.
