{建筑语言的谦逊与重生}：项目的核心在于对旧建筑的尊重和再利用。设计团队并未选择大刀阔斧的改造，而是以“谦逊且平和”的态度，通过“整理和介入”的手法，赋予了老宅新的生命。首先，剥离了覆盖在旧建筑表面的石膏板和乳胶漆，让原有的木结构和红砖墙得以展现，展现了建筑的原始风貌，强调了建筑的“真实性”和历史感。其次，将剩余外墙刷白，形成纯净的背景，突出了修复后的原生构件，凸显了老宅的主体地位。最后，巧妙地融入金属元素，在保留原有风貌的同时，赋予了建筑现代活力，体现了设计对新旧元素融合的精妙把握，实现了建筑的“重生”。

{内外空间的和谐统一}：该项目在城市环境中寻求一种内在的宁静与和谐。面对城市喧嚣，设计师通过一系列精巧的策略，营造出静谧的氛围。在建筑东侧设置长矮墙，不仅阻挡了外界视线，还营造了空间层次。内院核心位置的水面和四季桂的组合，则巧妙地平衡了建筑、庭院和大树之间的关系，强化了场地的氛围。这种内外空间的统一，使得建筑与环境相互映衬，为顾客提供了一种独特的体验。庭院设计并非孤立存在，而是与建筑本身的功能和体验紧密结合，强化了咖啡馆的休闲氛围，创造了一个远离城市喧嚣的静谧空间，使顾客可以在此放松身心，享受咖啡的醇香。

{空间体验的精心设计}：咖啡馆内部空间布局体现了设计师对用户体验的深刻理解。一层“回”字型吧台的设计，将咖啡制作流程巧妙地融入其中。吧台中心是咖啡机，方便制作意式咖啡，两侧则分别设置了迎客点单区、手冲咖啡区和特调咖啡区，满足了不同顾客的需求。更重要的是，客座区的抬高设计，使得顾客可以与咖啡师视线平行，营造了更舒适的互动体验。这种以人为本的设计，不仅提升了顾客的参与感，也强化了咖啡馆的社交属性。设计师注重细节，从咖啡制作到顾客体验，每一个环节都经过精心考量，最终打造出一个充满活力和吸引力的咖啡馆空间，赋予了建筑独特的使用价值和情感价值。

Baoshan is one of the important coffee producing areas in the world. With the booming development of the industry, boutique coffee shops have sprung up like mushrooms after rain. Odor is an old brand that has been deeply rooted in the local area for many years. They have chosen an old house in their forties as their third store. The old house occupies less than three thirds of the land and is a typical contemporary southwestern residential building. The main body is a two-story simple wooden frame, facing west and east, with an open shape to the east. The other three sides are shear resistant and bear vertical loads through brick walls. A trapezoidal brick concrete structure auxiliary building is placed on the south side of the main body.
保山，是全世界咖啡的重要产区之一，伴随着产业的蓬勃发展，精品咖啡馆如雨后春笋般破土而出。气味是深耕本地多年的老品牌，他们相中了一栋四十多岁的老宅作为第三家门店。老宅占地不到三分，是典型的当代西南民居，主体是木构的两层简易框架，坐西朝东，东面呈打开状，其余三面通过砖墙抗剪并承担竖向荷载，主体南侧并置了梯形的砖混结构副楼。

The site is located in the core of the city, and we believe that the posture of this store should not be ostentatious, but humble and peaceful. Proper organization and intervention are the core of the design. When I first arrived at the site, the interior of the old house was tightly wrapped in gypsum boards and latex paint. The first task was to remove the transitional decorations and skin, and confidently expose the wooden frame and red brick wall. In this way, the original tiles, wood, and bricks of the old house returned to their original appearance from top to bottom and from the inside out. Then the remaining exterior walls were painted white to form a background panel, and the restored part naturally jumped out, becoming the undisputed protagonist of the land. Finally, appropriate metal elements are incorporated into the organized old house to maintain its old appearance while revitalizing its vitality.
用地位于市区核心位置，我们认为这个店的姿态不应该是张扬的，应该谦逊且平和，适宜地整理和介入才是设计的内核。初到场地时，老宅内部已被石膏板和乳胶漆包裹的严严实实，首要任务就是把这些过渡装饰的表皮拆除，将木屋架和红色砖墙自信地裸露出来。这样一来，老宅主体原有的瓦、木、砖便自上而下、由内向外地回归了它本来的模样。接着将其余外墙部分刷白，形成背景板，恢复原样的这部分便自然跳脱出来，成为用地中当之无愧的主角儿。最后在整理出来的老宅中介入适当金属元素，使其不失旧容貌的同时，焕发新的精气神。

The tidying up of old houses is a city level control, while the atmosphere of cafes can affect customers' feelings and experiences when they visit the store. Although the elevation of the original site is already 1.4 meters higher than the street, the traffic and pedestrian flow on the east side road are very large, so buildings and courtyards facing east will still be disturbed by the hustle and bustle of the city. Fortunately, there are several large trees over 20 meters tall in front of the building. Under this natural shelter, efforts should be made to enhance the tranquility of the building and courtyard in order to accommodate visitors.
老宅的整理是城市层面的把控，而咖啡馆的氛围拿捏会影响顾客到店的感受和体验。虽然原始场地的标高已经高出街道 1.4 米了，但东侧道路的车流人流非常大，所以朝东的建筑和院落仍然会被城市的喧嚣所干扰。好在建筑前方有几株高 20 多米的大树，在这天然的自然庇护下，应当去强化建筑和庭院的静谧感，才能照顾到造访的人们。

First, a long and low wall is erected on the eastern boundary of the base, which not only blocks the direct view of the inner courtyard from the outside, but also forms a layered relationship with the north and west side walls and the main building. Then, a layer of water surface and a Four Seasons Osmanthus tree were arranged in the center of the inner courtyard, which not only took care of the relationship between the building, courtyard, and large trees, but also emphasized the atmosphere and stance of the entire site.
先在基地东侧边界拉通一面长矮墙，不仅遮蔽住外部对内院的直接视线，也和北、西两侧围墙以及建筑主体共同形成了叠落的层次关系。接着在内院中心布置一层水面和一株四季桂，这对组合既照顾了建筑、庭院、大树之间的关系，也强调了整个场域的氛围立场。

The coffee operation layout is reasonably arranged in the "back" shaped bar on the first floor. The center of the bar is the coffee machine, which is convenient for making regular Italian coffee. The east side is the welcoming order area, and the north and south sides are the guest areas. The bar facing the north guest area is used for making handmade coffee, and the bar facing the south guest area is used for making special coffee. At the same time, the guest areas on both sides are raised so that customers can sit parallel to the barista's line of sight and have the most comfortable interaction.
咖啡的操作布置被合理地安排在一层的“回”字型吧台里，吧台中心位置是咖啡机，方便制作常规意式咖啡，东侧为迎客点单区，南北两侧为客座区，面对北客座区的吧台用于制作手冲咖啡，面对南客座区的吧台是制作特调咖啡，同时将两边客座区抬高，这样客人在坐下时能与咖啡师视线平行，得到最舒服的交互状态。

On a sunny day, leaning against the courtyard, holding a cup of Katim, listening to the bustling streets, rustling leaves, and trickling water. At this moment, the awakened old house of Smell Coffee has become an adjective for Baoshan life.
风和日丽，倚靠在院落中，手握一杯卡蒂姆，听着街道车水马龙，树叶飒飒作响，水面涓涓细流。此刻，气味咖啡这栋被唤醒的老宅成为了保山生活的形容词。
