From the architect. Tarasana is located within the Yelapa community, nestled in dense forests and adjacent to the Sierra Madre mountain range in western Mexico. As a comprehensive center, Tarasana offers a variety of convenient facilities, including options for natural childbirth in water or in bed. In addition, it is also a rehabilitation center that can carry out various activities. The project proposal aims to establish a comprehensive environment where infants, women, and men can reconnect with their nature and the world around them. This project was inspired by Mathias Goeritz's "Declaration of Emotional Architecture," which advocates for enhancing human spirituality through architectural design, with the goal of rescuing architecture from its current purely material functional state.

The core of the project is to create a space that feels secure and happy, similar to a mother's womb. These spaces are used for childbirth and fostering relationships between parents and children, including the involvement of fathers. The overall design concept is to create an environment that is harmonious with the human body, reminiscent of the uterus. This is not a regression, but a means of harmony. The center is named "Centro TARSANA" and serves as a shelter for physical and mental rehabilitation, while also providing opportunities for various activities.

Conceptualization and prototyping. This term is based on the principles of bionics, derived from the Greek words bios (life) and ikos (unity), and includes the concept of creating artificial structures based on living systems. It was first proposed by Jack E. Steele in 1958.

Bionics is committed to developing functions and forms that mimic biological behavior through meticulous observation, in-depth research, analysis, and synthesis. Bionics believes that any model can provide novel ideas to design methods that are suitable for specific environments and users, rather than just copying. A typical example is Paolo Soleri's urban system, ecological architecture (a fusion of architecture and ecology), inspired by the distribution of cells within living organisms (Jaivir Senosian, Bioarchitecture, 2017, "Finding Space," p. 18).

The structure and form of TARASANA are based on a ring-shaped prototype, characterized by an energy pattern similar to a donut - a continuous surface with a central opening. This energy dynamics persist in a fundamental pattern, with energy flowing through one end, circulating in the center, and then flowing out from the other end.

In the circular body, the principles of divine geometry can be found, such as the Great Void, the Law of Unity, the Law of Dualism, as well as mathematical pillars such as Phi, Pi, and Euler (Psychological Geometry, 2021, Article 10, "Human Circular Bodies and Their Functions").

The role of cement, concrete, and steel in TARASANA reflects the seemingly irreconcilable fusion of opposites, similar to the principles of yin and yang, light and shadow, and yin and yang. Iron cement is the predecessor of reinforced concrete, which has high plasticity and can be molded and carved. Its metal skeleton guides the vertical members towards concentric rings, forming an overall shape that conforms to the circular principle. This ensures self-supporting without the need for independent vertical support.
