The project results include inspiring creativity and promoting interaction among diverse craftsmen using traditional Japanese manufacturing techniques in shared office spaces. In addition, the design team also delved into the history of the Gotanda region, a name that echoes the origins of its rural rice farming culture. Therefore, the design team's design philosophy is to harmoniously integrate these elements into the office space.

Kimono is carefully cut from a piece of fabric, origami is the art of transforming a piece of paper into various forms, and fuji is a piece of fabric used to wrap various shapes and sizes of items. The limited resources have stimulated various innovations in Japan, which have been integrated into the creation of daily necessities. In response to this cultural heritage, the design team utilized limited aluminum materials and cleverly designed a space on a simple surface that meets various functions and needs.

Here, a "recycled" aluminum plate is spread across the entire ceiling, injecting fresh and vibrant waves into the space, reflecting light and producing a soft glow like the sunlight shining on the surface of a rice paddy in the past. These beautiful overlapping metal waves create different heights and vast spatial areas, vividly and flexibly changing like water currents, injecting necessary functionality and atmosphere into the area.

At the entrance, the strong wave flow creates a dynamic space, with the height of the space dramatically changing in the vertical direction, giving visitors a strong sense of movement and promoting inspiration and collision of ideas. In the sofa rest area and office area, the waves become more calm and the space height increases, providing an open environment that is both suitable for relaxation and concentration.

In the bar and kitchen areas, waves create an intimate space, allowing people to be energetic and enjoy in-depth conversations. With the changing of the sky, sunrise and sunset, and subtle changes in natural light with seasons and daytime, the visitor's location and passage of time bring various atmospheric spatial experiences.

Sustainable Design Method - The design team used "recycled" aluminum panels for this space project. In addition, due to the unique space provided by these aluminum panels, the design team adjusted the assembly method of the aluminum ceiling components so that they can be disassembled and reinstalled when the business is relocated to different locations. This method not only effectively reduces waste, lowers store relocation costs, but also promotes the establishment of a recycling society.
