环境适应与场地策略：项目巧妙地应对了其所处环境的挑战。设计师洞察到项目周边环境的杂乱，并未试图通过外在的建筑形式去迎合或改善，而是将重点放在了内部空间和远山景观的引入。这种“向内求”的设计策略，通过围合式的院落布局，创造了一个与外界隔离的、宁静的内庭院，为居住者提供了私密而舒适的体验。同时，建筑在空间布局上巧妙利用了远山的景观，将自然风光引入室内，实现了内外空间的和谐统一，体现了对场地环境的深刻理解和尊重。

形式语言与材质运用：建筑在外形上呈现出独特的魅力，体块堆叠和双向坡屋顶的设计，与远山相互呼应，营造出丰富的层次感。更值得称道的是，设计师对当地常见石板的创新运用。通过将石板切割成条形并叠压的方式，赋予了建筑外墙独特的纹理和质感，与白色的墙面形成鲜明对比，增强了建筑的视觉冲击力。这种对当地材料的重新诠释，不仅是对地方文脉的尊重，也为建筑本身赋予了独特的个性和文化内涵，体现了设计师对材料的精湛驾驭能力。

空间体验与细节处理：项目在空间体验上展现出精巧的设计。通过在建筑的三层和屋顶设置开放的休闲区和观景平台，创造了多样的空间体验，让居住者可以多角度欣赏周围的景观。室内设计则采用仿灰泥的艺术漆、木质家具、门窗系统以及绿色大理石等材料，营造出清新自然的氛围，提升了居住的舒适感。这种对细节的精心处理，无论是建筑外观、材料选择还是空间布局，都旨在为使用者带来放松和宁静的体验，展现了设计师对空间体验的深度思考和对生活品质的追求。

The project is located in the Taihang Grand Canyon of Shibanyan Town, Linzhou City. Here, the peaks are stacked and the scenery is beautiful. It is known as the "soul of the 800 mile Taihang Mountains" and is a representative of the northern landscape scenery. There are multiple scenic spots around the village where the project is located, and tourists flock to the valley from April to October every year. Two years ago, commissioned by the owner, the old houses in the village were demolished and rebuilt to create a more high-quality and distinctive homestay.
项目位于林州市石板岩镇太行大峡谷内，这里峰峦叠嶂，风光秀美，被誉为“八百里太行之魂”，是北方山水风光的代表。项目所在的村庄周边有多个景区，每年四至十月份，山谷内游客络绎不绝。两年前，受到业主委托，要对村子里的旧宅进行拆除新建，打造一栋更具品质的特色民宿。

The surrounding environment of the project site is not good, although it is surrounded by mountains, the overall appearance of the village is ordinary and chaotic. On the north side of the site is the teaching building and main entrance of the only school in the town, on the east side is the school playground, and not far from the west side is a four story residential building dedicated to providing catering and accommodation for students' sketching. It is only one road away from the south neighbor. As far as the eye could see, it was a mess. But the distant mountains are not far, so from the beginning of the design, we could not seek them from the outside, but only from the inside (courtyard) and from afar (mountain scenery).
项目场地周边环境并不算好，虽说外部群山环绕，然而村子整体风貌普通且杂乱。场地北侧是镇上仅有的一所学校的教学楼及主入口，东侧是学校操场，西侧不远处是一栋专为学生写生提供餐饮住宿的四层民房，和南侧邻居仅一路之隔。目之所及，一片杂乱。但远山并不远，因此在设计之初我们便不能求之于外，只能求之于内（院），求之于远（山景）。

The project is arranged as an enclosed courtyard according to the site conditions, forming an inner courtyard that is not disturbed by the surrounding environment. The eastern part facing the road serves as the external functional area, while the western part surrounding the inner courtyard is the activity space within the guest room area.
项目根据场地条件布置为围合式的院落，形成不被周边环境干扰的内庭院。东侧临路部分作为对外的功能区，西侧围绕内庭院是客房区内向的活动空间。

Set up open leisure areas and observation platforms at suitable locations on the third floor and roof of the building, creating diverse spatial experiences between sloping roofs at different angles. The main building is composed of stacked blocks, complemented by a bi-directional sloping roof that echoes the distant mountains, creating a layered appearance.
在建筑三层和屋顶的合适位置设置开放的休闲区和观景平台，在不同角度的坡屋顶之间形成多样的空间体验。由体块堆叠而成的建筑主体，搭配与远处群山呼应的双向坡屋面，形成富有层次感的外观。

To meet the requirements of the local government, the exterior walls and some roofs need to use locally common stone slabs. The designer used a different method from local practices to cut the slate into strips, which were stacked together like traditional slate roofs. This treatment creates a unique texture and rich texture on the exterior wall surface, creating a strong contrast with the white appearance.
为满足当地政府的要求，外墙和部分屋面需使用当地常见的石板。设计师使用与当地做法不同的方式切割石板为条形，像传统石板屋面的做法一样叠压在一起，这种处理方式使外墙表面形成独特的纹理和丰富的质感，也与白色外观形成了强烈的对比。

The indoor materials mainly use art paint imitating plaster, paired with wooden furniture and door and window systems, as well as green marble, to create a fresh and natural atmosphere, making the entire indoor experience more relaxed and peaceful. The overall architecture not only meets practical needs, but also brings a unique experience to users through the combination of formal beauty and spatial sense.
室内材料主要使用仿灰泥的艺术漆，搭配木质家具和门窗系统以及绿色大理石，展现一种清新自然的氛围，让整个室内体验更趋于放松和宁静。建筑整体既满足了实用需求，又通过形式美与空间感的结合，为使用者带来独特的体验感。
