设计理念的深度解读：“Kunst Ayutthaya” 项目的核心在于对熟悉元素的巧妙运用，以及对历史文脉的深刻理解。建筑师并未选择简单地复刻历史，而是通过对传统材料与意象的重新解读，赋予它们新的生命力。项目选用了泰式传统房屋中常见的弧形波纹铁皮屋顶板，但将其从屋顶转移到立面、天花板和围墙，这一转变不仅仅是材料的再利用，更是一种叙事策略，将历史的记忆、设计的意图融入其中，创造出一种既熟悉又新鲜的建筑语言。这种设计手法打破了传统与现代的界限，实现了对地方文脉的尊重与创新，展现了设计师对建筑与艺术的深刻思考。

空间组织的巧妙构思：项目在原有的联排住宅基础上，通过精心的空间分割和重塑，打造了多功能、多层次的复合空间。将“Kunst Bake'n Cof”、BodinChapa Architects 工作室和“Kunst Ayutthaya Hotel”巧妙地融合在一起，形成了一个充满活力和互动性的场所。各个功能区域之间既相互独立又彼此联系，通过内部步道、精心设计的绿地和中央庭院中的大树，实现了空间的水平和垂直连接。这种空间组织方式不仅满足了不同功能的需求，也创造了丰富的视觉层次和体验感，使得建筑内部充满生机，同时保持了各区域的私密性，体现了设计师对空间利用的精湛把握。

对场地文脉的回应与创新：Kunst Ayutthaya 项目是对场地文脉的深刻回应，同时又充满了创新精神。建筑选址于大城府历史岛区中心，设计通过“Kunst”这个词语巧妙地将艺术与熟悉感融合，体现了对历史文化的尊重。项目并未简单地停留在表面，而是深入挖掘场地内涵，通过对材料、意象和空间组织的重新诠释，将历史记忆转化为当代设计语言。建筑师以一种开放的态度，创造性地将传统元素融入到现代设计中，赋予建筑独特的个性和魅力。这种设计理念不仅是对过去的回望，更是对未来的展望，体现了建筑师对建筑、历史和文化的深刻思考和创新精神。

From the architect. Kunst Ayutthaya was born out of the evolving needs of the BodinChapa team and their family, aiming to create a space that supports multidimensional living and encourages natural growth. It is envisioned not only as a building, but also as a creative space - a place that can bear fruit, inspire inspiration, and maintain the collective growth and resilience of its members. This vision prompted them to explore a "new" yet intimate space, carefully crafted through BodinChapa's complete design language and interpretation.
来自建筑师。Kunst Ayutthaya 诞生于BodinChapa 团队及其家庭不断演变的需求之中，旨在打造一个支持多维生活、鼓励自然生长的空间。它被构想为不仅仅是一座建筑，更是一个富有创造力的空间—— 一个能结出硕果、激发灵感并维系其成员共同成长与坚韧精神的场所。这一愿景促使他们去探寻一处“崭新”却又令人倍感亲切的空间，该空间通过 BodinChapa 完整的设计语言与诠释精心打造而成。

The name 'Kunst' - borrowed from the German word for 'art' - was carefully selected. In Thai, it sounds similar to the word 'Khun', meaning familiarity, intimacy, and warmth. Therefore, Kunst Ayutthaya embodies the fusion of art and familiarity: it represents the art and design we encounter in our daily lives and during our travels, and also symbolizes the quiet and long-lasting existence of cultural, architectural, and artistic memories inspired by the historic city of Ayutthaya.
“Kunst”这一名称——借自德语中表示“艺术”的词汇——是经过精心挑选的。在泰语中，它与“Khun（คุ้น）”一词发音相近，寓意着熟悉、亲密与温馨。因此，Kunst Ayutthaya 体现了艺术与熟悉感的融合：它代表着我们在日常生活中、在旅途的间隙所邂逅的艺术与设计，也象征着受历史名城大城府启发而延续下来的文化、建筑与艺术记忆那静谧而持久的存在。

This design draws on images and materials that are often overlooked in the daily life of ancient castles, and these elements contain a subtle, often overlooked but deeply rooted architectural trait. A typical example is the use of small curved corrugated iron roof panels commonly found at the eaves of traditional Thai houses. In this design, these materials are reused and praised - they are no longer used as roof materials, but as the main surface treatment materials for building facades, ceiling bottoms, and boundary walls. Through this reinterpretation, the material goes beyond its original function and becomes a narrative tool, layering history, memory, and design intent.
该设计汲取了古大城府日常生活中常被忽视的意象与材料，这些元素蕴含着一种微妙、常被忽略却根深蒂固的建筑特质。一个典型例子是使用了常见于泰式传统房屋屋檐处的小弧形波纹铁皮屋顶板。在此设计中，这些材料被重新利用并加以颂扬 —— 它们不再作为屋顶材料，而是成为建筑立面、天花板底面及边界围墙的主要表面处理材料。通过这种重新诠释，该材料超越了其原始功能，成为一种叙事工具，层层叠加起历史、记忆与设计意图。

The project is located in a once enclosed row house in the center of the historic island district of Dachengfu. The design process carefully stripped away the opaque layers of construction - thick walls, enclosed roofs - to open up the building structure and allow natural light to shine into the underlying space. The new layout is divided into three interconnected areas:
• Kunst Bake'n Cof - a space that integrates baking and coffee, serving as the first welcoming place for the project
• BodinChapa Architects - the team's own architectural studio, hidden deeper within the building
• Kunst Ayutthaya Hotel - occupying the upper level space, providing a peaceful resting place
该项目坐落于大城府历史岛区中心的一座曾被封闭的联排住宅内。设计过程精心剥离了不透明的层层构造 —— 厚实的墙壁、封闭的屋顶 —— 以打开建筑结构，让自然光洒入底层空间。新的布局划分为三个相互连通的区域：
• Kunst Bake 'n Cof —— 一家集烘焙与咖啡于一体的空间，作为项目的首个迎宾之所
• BodinChapa Architects —— 团队自有的建筑工作室，隐匿于建筑更深处
• Kunst Ayutthaya Hotel —— 占据上层空间，提供一处静谧的休憩之所

These three areas share the public areas of the building: internal walkways and carefully planned green spaces serve as both horizontal and vertical spatial separation elements, as well as connecting functions. In the central courtyard stands a mature tree, whose branches and leaves extend upwards through the gaps between the balconies above the hotel, connecting the two floors visually and spatially, while ensuring privacy and independence between each functional area.
这三个区域共享建筑的公共区域：内部步道与精心规划的绿地既作为水平与垂直方向上的空间分隔元素，又发挥着连接作用。中央庭院中矗立着一棵成熟的大树，其枝叶穿过酒店上方阳台间的空隙向上延伸，在视觉与空间上将两层楼连接起来，同时确保了各功能区域之间的私密性与独立性。

The project revolves around a framework centered around selecting familiar elements: familiar materials, familiar techniques, and familiar imagery. This design intention aims to create an emotional connection between visitors and the space, whether through quiet resonance or unexpected discoveries. This building may trigger people's thinking about space, materials, and memory. It may evoke a sense of understanding - even reawakening people's awareness of the "familiar things" in their surrounding environment. Essentially, Kunst Ayutthaya is not about nostalgia. It focuses on achieving continuity through reinterpretation - this is an architectural concept that pays tribute to history not by replicating the past, but by reimagining it as a vibrant and constantly evolving experience.
该项目围绕一个以选择熟悉元素为核心理念的框架展开：熟悉的材料、熟悉的手法以及熟悉的意象。这一设计意图旨在让访客无论是通过静谧的共鸣还是不期而遇的发现，都能与空间产生情感上的联结。这座建筑或许会引发人们的思考：关于空间，关于材料，关于记忆。它可能会唤起一种理解之感 —— 甚至重新唤醒人们对自身周围环境中那些“熟悉事物”的觉察。从本质上讲，Kunst Ayutthaya 并非关于怀旧。它关注的是通过重新诠释来实现延续 —— 这是一种建筑理念，它并非通过复制过去来致敬历史，而是通过将其重新构想为一种鲜活、不断演进的体验。
