建筑概念的巧妙演绎：“THE FACETS”咖啡馆项目最引人入胜之处在于其对宝石主题的深刻解读和艺术化转化。设计师没有仅仅停留在表面模仿宝石外观，而是深入挖掘宝石的特质——形态、色彩、反射，并将这些特质巧妙地融入建筑语言。新增部分的钻石几何形态外立面，通过双色膜亚克力板的运用，实现了光线与色彩的动态互动，使建筑在不同时间、不同角度呈现出迷人的虹彩效果，宛如一颗闪耀的活体宝石。这种对材料、光线和几何形态的精妙运用，赋予了建筑独特的视觉表现力，也提升了整个项目的艺术价值和文化内涵。

室内设计的精致与氛围营造：室内设计延续了对宝石主题的深入探索，将“未经雕琢的宝石”的概念融入空间，营造出独特的氛围。通过白色基调、反光材料和石洞造型的运用，创造出纯净而神秘的视觉体验。吧台设计和悬挂的亚克力板，以光线与影子的互动，模拟出钻石的璀璨光芒，丰富了空间的层次感。家具设计也呼应了主题，运用光泽的层压板和彩色亚克力，既保持了空间的通透性，又注入了宝石的质感和色彩，使整个空间充满了艺术感和活力。这种对细节的精雕细琢，体现了设计师对主题的深刻理解和对空间氛围的精准把握。

景观设计与文化融合的和谐统一：项目的景观设计同样值得称赞，它在现代建筑风格的基础上，巧妙地融入了当地文化元素，体现了建筑与环境的和谐统一。简约宁静的花园设计，与建筑的几何形态形成鲜明对比，增加了视觉的丰富性。自由形态的池塘、手工黏土砖的应用，既提升了空间的艺术性和文化底蕴，又为咖啡馆注入了温暖和人文关怀。这种对当地材料和手工艺的运用，不仅丰富了建筑的视觉元素，也体现了设计师对当地文化的尊重和对可持续发展的思考，为项目增添了独特的魅力。

From the architect. THE FACETS is a renovation and expansion project for a caf é located on the site of a well-known gemstone store in San Kamphaeng, Chiang Mai, Thailand. The design revolves around interpreting the diversity of gemstones through architectural language, aiming to create a unique, captivating, and sensory rich space. The design inspiration comes from the beauty of gemstones such as diamonds, opals, amethysts, garnets, emeralds, aquamarine, sapphires, and citrines, transforming their form, color, and reflective characteristics into architectural forms while cleverly incorporating local cultural features.
来自建筑师。THE FACETS 是对位于泰国清迈三坎彭（San Kamphaeng）一家知名宝石商店场地内的一家咖啡馆进行的翻新与扩建项目。设计围绕以建筑语言诠释“宝石的多样性”展开，旨在打造一个独具特色、引人入胜且能带来丰富感官体验的空间。设计灵感源自钻石、蛋白石、紫水晶、石榴石、祖母绿、海蓝宝石、蓝宝石和黄水晶等宝石的美丽，将其形态、色彩与反射特质转化为建筑形式，同时巧妙融入当地文化特色。

建筑：从澄澈如晶到虹彩立面 —— 该建筑分为两个主要体量。

New addition: The design inspiration for the newly expanded section comes from the multi-faceted geometric shape of diamonds, using a steel structure frame and acrylic sheets coated with dual color film. These panels shimmer with rainbow colors, subtly changing colors with the angle of the sun and time of day - turning the building facade into a living gemstone that moves with the light and shines brightly.
翻新部分：现有建筑通过使用两种尺寸的透明玻璃砖，以交替排列的方式，被改造成一个宛如水晶般的体块。白色、银色与透明材质的搭配，使得建筑内部在夜晚能够柔和地散发光芒，与展示柜中宝石的光泽交相辉映。新增部分：新扩建部分的设计灵感源自钻石的多面几何形态，采用钢结构框架，外覆涂有双色膜的亚克力板。这些面板闪烁着虹彩，随着太阳角度和一天中时间的变化而微妙地变换色彩 —— 将建筑外立面变成了一颗随光而动、熠熠生辉的活体宝石。

Interior Design: The interweaving of lightness and radiance - Interior design tells the story of a gemstone that remains deeply buried underground and uncut before being polished. Some wall elements are designed in the shape of stone caves, with surface textures reminiscent of natural geological layers. The overall color tone is mainly white, paired with reflective materials, symbolizing the purity of crystal form. The bar counter is designed with sharp edges and covered with mirrored aluminum, projecting bright light and shadow on the ground, reminiscent of the brilliant radiance of diamonds. Above, delicate acrylic panels hang from the ceiling, swaying gently in the wind and capturing light at different angles. The design inspiration for furniture comes from unprocessed stone shapes, with glossy laminated boards and colored acrylic with specific gemstone tones wrapped around the surface, injecting vitality into the space while maintaining transparency and lightness.
室内设计：轻盈与闪耀的层层交织 —— 室内设计讲述了一颗宝石在被打磨之前，仍深埋于地下、未经雕琢的历程。某些墙面元素被设计成类似石洞的形状，表面纹理让人联想到天然的地质层。整体色调以白色为主，搭配反光材料，象征着晶体形态的纯净。吧台设计棱角分明，表面覆盖着镜面铝材，在地面投射出明亮的光影，令人联想到钻石的璀璨光芒。上方，精致的亚克力板从天花板垂落，随风轻轻摇曳，在不同角度捕捉光线。家具的设计灵感源自未经加工的石头形态，表面包裹着光泽的层压板和带有特定宝石色调的彩色亚克力，在保持空间通透与轻盈感的同时，为其注入活力。

Landscape: Dialogue between Nature and Craftsmanship - Garden design adheres to the concept of simplicity and tranquility. The carefully selected green leafy plants add a soft and contrasting beauty to the rigid geometric form of the building. A free-form pond winds through the outdoor dining areas, reflecting and activating the architectural style around the clock. Local craft materials are significantly utilized, including handmade clay bricks used to construct soft curved walls. These elements inject warmth and cultural continuity into the space, cleverly blending modern expression with traditional craftsmanship.
景观：自然与工艺的对话 —— 花园设计秉持简约与宁静的理念。精心挑选的绿叶植物为建筑刚硬的几何形态增添了柔和感与对比之美。一个自由形态的池塘蜿蜒穿梭于户外就餐区之间，全天候映照并活化着建筑的风貌。当地工艺材料被显著运用，其中包括用于构筑柔和曲线墙壁的手工黏土砖。这些元素为空间注入了温暖与文化延续感，巧妙地将现代表达与手工艺传统融为一体。

The FACETS caf é goes far beyond reflecting the image of gemstones - it reinterprets the essence of gemstones through form, light, and texture, transforming them into a dual experience of emotion and space. It is not just a caf é, but also a vibrant gem in the heart of San Kamphaeng. Here, the architecture captures light, reflects regional characteristics, and reflects cultural connotations.
THE FACETS 咖啡馆所做的远不止于映照宝石的形象 —— 它通过形态、光线与质感重新诠释了宝石的精髓，将其转化为情感与空间的双重体验。它不仅仅是一家咖啡馆，更是三坎彭（San Kamphaeng）心脏地带一颗跃动的宝石，在这里，建筑捕捉光线、映照地域特色，并折射出文化内涵。
