The Rosebrook Lodge in Bretton Woods covers an area of 17000 square feet and is located on a mountainside overlooking New Hampshire's famous Presidential Mountains, a series of white peaks including the state's iconic 6288 foot high Mount Washington. The building was completed in July 2020, and its leaf like shape is limited by four factors: the rugged terrain of the area, the boundaries of the US Forest Service, existing skier traffic, and the newly built mountaintop cable car in the project.

The curved floor standing exterior walls made of wood and glass bring natural light to the interior. The simple, low slope roof design eliminates icicles and removes snow from all areas facing the public. The double height entrance is like a lighthouse, welcoming guests from the cable car and visible from the historic Washington Mountain Hotel below. The lower level of the cabin includes a striking entrance, a full-service restaurant, coffee shop, guest restrooms, and a back of house facility.

There are dining services on the upper level, as well as an open hall that serves skiers in winter and serves as a destination for weddings and special events. In order to incorporate outdoor elements into the interior, the design team strives to ensure a seamless transition of wood, steel, stone, and glass, complementing the natural beauty of the area in a simple yet exquisite way.

The building draws inspiration from the traditional beam column structure of the region while creating a fresh and modern structure. The upper and lower terraces further connect the building to the mountain, blurring the boundary between nature and artificiality. To capture the 180 degree landscape of the location, Rosebrook used innovative wood and wooden "curtain walls". The system consists of wooden stairs and aluminum clad wooden nail wing windows, which solve the extreme wind, water, and temperature changes unique to high mountain environments while minimizing construction costs.
