Stockholmshem 总部 Skärholmen / Söderberg Söderberg

Sk ä rholmen was one of the first suburbs in Sweden's "Million Plan", which built one million public housing units between 1965 and 1975. The original planning was inspired in part by ancient Rome, blending alleys, public squares, terraces, monumental architecture, and personalized design. Sk ä rholmen is now known for its first IKEA warehouse in Sweden and extensive international food market. It has the largest multicultural community in Sweden and serves as a cultural exchange hub, but also faces some social challenges.

The newly constructed 23 story high-rise building is located in the center of Sk ä rholmen, echoing the surrounding environment and contrasting with the terraced residential complex on the northern slopes. It has not only become a landmark in this area, but also visible in the city center of Stockholm. The structure of the building adopts a pillar architecture system, and modular window and door designs are achieved through fully covered glass railings on each balcony, ensuring the transparency and modernity of the building. The roof is equipped with a green terrace for residents and staff to use. The four corners of the building have entrances, with a public and accessible entrance located in the southwest corner for everyone to use.

The design of the exterior gives the building a unique appearance. The design of the balcony with fireproof strips not only prevents the spread of fire, but also provides openings for full height windows and doors, increasing natural light exposure and improving the visual connection between the inside and outside. At the same time, the necessary sound insulation effect is provided through transparent soundproof glass railings and noise reducing roof elements. The facade adopts a specially designed Terrazzo grid, which organizes the disorder of the balcony facade, and the columns are arranged compactly, ensuring the safety of high-rise balconies. As the sunlight changes, columns and facades will produce constantly changing shadow effects. The facade, balcony front, and exterior panels are made of Roman style brushed green cement mosaic, echoing the style of the surrounding 1960s buildings and connected to their historical origins.
