The school building complex is presented in a controlled form and material duality in the landscape: classrooms appear in the form of individual pavilions, which shape the landscape with continuous and rhythmic facades, both dynamic and systematic, presenting different appearances from each perspective, sometimes appearing heavy and sometimes transparent. The facade is made of on-site colored concrete to create a warm and pleasant appearance. After pouring, sandblasting treatment is carried out to expose some aggregates, thereby controlling the final quality. These pavilion style classrooms rise from the ground like rocks, simple, noble, and eternal. The shared space (including the after-school activity center, cafeteria, and main hall of the school complex) is located under a prominent aluminum roof, guiding visitors to the entrance. Therefore, the design team made a distinction between private spaces dedicated to learning and shared multifunctional spaces for all community residents to use. In this sense, it respects the well-known and recognizable urban hierarchy, where public facilities adorn the urban landscape within a uniform group of private buildings.

The walls are made of concrete, the roof is made of aluminum, and the fine woodworking is made of wood. These materials were selected for their powerful technological and identity value: they are durable, localized, and traditional, with controllable aging performance. The school building complex conveys a peaceful atmosphere that will be maintained for centuries. It seamlessly integrates technical systems (such as insulation, technical equipment, etc.) while meeting the required technical and environmental performance, anticipating their replacement over time without changing the building's image. The goal is to propose a contemporary architecture that adapts to current needs while designing it in harmony with both natural and man-made environments, complementing it as a coherent and sustainable whole.

The school complex is accessed through two entrances, located at the North and South corners of the Future Sports Center. These entrances lead to the school's courtyard, which is L-shaped and surrounds the gymnasium, connecting the two entrances to Rue du Soufflet and the southeast side public courtyard. The school complex consists of three buildings: the northern part is a typical rural linear structure called the "long è re", which features reception and interface spaces as well as an after-school activity center. The northwest is the school cafeteria, located between the delivery area and the garden. To the south of the restaurant is a kindergarten, and further south, facing the public courtyard is an elementary school. This layout has the following advantages: all shared spaces (such as libraries, multipurpose rooms, activity rooms, restaurants) gather around a public square, forming the heart of the village. The kindergarten is also located near the central square, shortening the walking distance for young children throughout the day. Senior students who require more activities and are more noisy are located at the southern end of the venue. The entrances to different areas are easily identifiable under the protection of a large cantilevered roof.

The school courtyard is located between the entrance of Rue du Soufflet and the south side public courtyard, and is complemented by a soft traffic lane and a continuous road network surrounding the future sports arena. The terrain slope is about 3%, which is conducive to the fine distinction between public spaces and building volumes. These building volumes are set at three different elevations, with each elevation staggered by 1.5 meters. This slope helps to define the boundary between the school courtyard and the private terrace of the elementary school classroom. In the morning, the courtyard is actively used by students and parents, while the terrace remains private and faces east. These private terraces associated with each elementary and kindergarten classroom serve as front gardens and buffer zones, ensuring privacy between public and private spaces. These terraces provide students with a stronger sense of belonging to the school, for example, where they can organize outdoor workshops, temporary or semi permanent buildings, and experiment with various elements (sunlight, rain, wind), or simply conduct outdoor classes in good weather and positive atmosphere. The stairs that connect different floors inside and outside the school, usually combined with the steps, form a space for meeting, relaxing, or spontaneous activities. The project aims to provide a true village square for the community, located in the central area of different functional centers, revitalized by its cultural and sports facilities as well as urban and architectural quality.
