In the overall design of Shenzhen High School Guangming Science City School, we take the user experience of students as the starting point, hoping to create a vibrant "knowledge oasis" in the urban forest. The design team uses green and humanistic design techniques throughout the campus layout to build a modern stacked platform campus that is ecological, open, humanistic, and innovative, oriented towards the future and the international community. The aim is to cultivate talents who focus on "environmental protection, communication, and interaction" in all aspects, and provide sustainable development space for future education.
在深圳中学光明科学城学校的整体设计中,我们以学生的使用体验为出发点,希望在城市森林中创造一座漾溢生命力的“知识绿洲”。设计团队以绿色人文的设计手法贯穿校园布局,来构建一个面向未来和国际的生态、开放、人文、创新的现代化叠台式校园,以培养注重“环保·交流·互动”全方位的人才,为未来教育提供可持续发展的空间。

01 Innovative Campus Organizational Model

Based on the characteristics of the triangular terrain, the campus adopts a three-dimensional development design strategy, and the overall layout takes into account both functionality and environmental coordination.. The teaching area is located on the west side of the site, next to the main urban road. While providing excellent natural river landscape views for campus teachers and students, it is also designed with a large setback distance to isolate urban noise. The sports field is located on the northeast side of the venue, designed to be raised to the height of the vehicle roof to ensure that students have good visibility and a better user experience during outdoor activities. The teacher dormitories, which are relatively independent of the teaching area, are arranged on the southernmost side of the base, meeting the organizational layout relationship of both separate and integrated teacher dormitories and teaching areas. At the same time, through the dual entrance pedestrian and vehicle separation design, the interference with urban traffic is minimized to the greatest extent.
01 创新校园的组织模式

基于三角地形的基地特征,校园采用立体开发的设计策略,整体布局兼顾功能性与环境协调性。教学区布置于场地西侧,即城市主干道旁,在给校园师生提供绝佳的自然河道景观视野的同时,也以其较大的退让距离设计隔绝了城市噪音。运动场则布置于场地东北侧,设计抬高至车辆顶部高度,以保证学生在户外活动拥有良好的视线以及较好的使用体验。而相对独立于教学区的教师宿舍,则布置于基地的最南侧,满足了教师宿舍与教学区既分且合的组织布局关系,同时通过双入口的人车分流设计,最大限度减少了对城市交通的干扰。

02 Vibrant Teaching Axis

We hope that the campus can support the development of future teaching, and we also believe that student activities in class are not limited to classroom space. Therefore, in the design, we adopt a multi platform design approach, with teaching as the main axis and multi-dimensional activity spaces created around it to meet the activity needs of students on different floors and in different spaces.. At the same time, the design also aims to encourage teaching to step out of the classroom, allowing students to perceive the campus environment more, promoting the occurrence of various learning, education, cultural exchange, and knowledge exploration, and thus building a multi platform communication venue full of cultural atmosphere, stimulating students' creativity and interactivity.
02 活力丰富的教学主轴

我们希望校园可以支持未来教学的发展,也相信学生课上活动不仅只局限于教室空间内,故在设计中,我们采用多平台的设计手法,以教学为主轴,多维立体的活动空间围绕创造而生,来满足不同楼层、不同空间的学生活动需求。同时设计也旨在鼓励教学走出教室,让学生更多的感知校园环境,以促进多种学习教育、文化交流及知识探索的发生,进而构建一个充满文化气息的多平台交流场所,激发学生的创造力与互动性。

03 Diversified and Composite Shared Courtyard

Different from the stacked design of single spaces in ordinary schools, we adopt a semi enclosed courtyard space design in the teaching group, which is connected by the teaching axis to form a multi-level and rich public activity space suitable for various exchanges.. The first floor elevated structure effectively reduces the building density, not only bringing good natural lighting and ventilation effects, but also creating an open, free, and exploratory campus environment for students, stimulating the vitality of learning and interaction.
03 多元复合的共享庭院

区别于普通学校单一空间的堆叠设计,在教学组团中我们采用半围合的庭院空间设计,通过教学主轴串联,来形成适合各种交流的层次丰富的公共活动空间。首层架空有效降低了建筑密度,不仅带来良好的自然采光和通风效果,也为学生塑造了一个开放、自由、探索的校园环境,激发学习与互动的活力。

04 Three dimensional presentation of natural ecology

The campus, which unfolds according to the trend, cleverly combines multi-dimensional and multi-level organic elements such as above ground ecological greening and leisure paths, teaching main axis aerial greening, sunken courtyard landscapes, roof cluster farms, etc., forming a unique campus greening system.. This multi-dimensional green hierarchy provides teachers and students with the possibility of subconsciously understanding and exploring nature in the environment, creating a learning atmosphere that coexists with nature.
04 自然生态的立体呈现

依势展开的校园,巧妙地将地上生态绿化休闲径、教学主轴空中绿化、下沉庭院景观、屋顶组团农场等多维度、多层次的有机结合,形成独一无二的校园绿化系统。这多维立体绿化层级构成,为师生提供了一种在场所里潜移默化地认知自然、探索自然的可能,营造与自然共生的学习氛围。

05 Continuation of Architectural Language Symbols

The high area of the school's street facade adopts multi-level and horizontal curves as the main prominent elements, with a soft and elegant form and harmonious urban relationships.. The low area continues the architectural symbol of Shenzhen Middle School, choosing college red as the color of clay bricks to add a college atmosphere and texture to the surface texture of the building, creating a stable and culturally meaningful college atmosphere.
05 建筑语言符号的延续

学校的沿街立面高区采用多层次、水平曲线为主要突出元素,形态柔和优雅,城市关系和谐。低区则延续深圳中学的建筑符号,选择学院红为陶土砖的颜色,为建筑表皮肌理增添学院气息和质感,营造稳重并且有文化内涵的书院气氛。

Conclusion

Shenzhen High School Guangming Science City School is an attempt and exploration of "future campus architecture". We hope to respond to the development of future cities through architectural design, and strive to create a series of multi form, multi-level, and multi-scale spaces to meet the diverse teaching behaviors.
