From the architect. Luna Beach Club is located on the cliff edge of Nanyyi Beach in Tabanannuanu Creative City, Bali. Luna Beach Club seized the opportunity to create a destination that integrates activities, dining, art, gatherings, and leisure entertainment, with a unique iconic building overlooking the sea. The overall plan features a series of groundbreaking natural buildings, conceived according to the Fibonacci sequence, linking the flow and movement of the entire site to form an activity center.

The project aims to create a highly iconic beach club and event venue, creating miracles, inspiration, and a sense of adventure. The core of the complex is the main beach club, which looks like a vortex like structure built from bamboo and basalt. As the main dining area, it is covered with multiple layers of woven sunshades, making the indoor space bright and comfortable during the day and brightly lit at night. The overall plan includes the masculine (TWG Tower) and feminine (main restaurant and restaurant center), as well as a main charming open space, an attractive main open space, and a range of other attractions such as ceremonial buildings, a lagoon pool, slides leading to the cave pool, clubs, elevated pods with tunnels, platform nets and candy bar domes, magic gardens, and outdoor beverage gardens and barbecue areas.

Connected to the restaurant is a lagoon style swimming pool facing the sea, which leads to the underground 'Utopia Cave Club' where there is an 11 meter long thrilling slide. The elevated cabins adjacent to the forest area are made of recycled materials and interwoven with trees, providing interesting spaces that blend in with the natural environment, such as nets, tunnels, and climbing routes. The 'Pure Land' is located in a secluded corner and is a peaceful space for hosting meditation, weddings, yoga and other ritual activities.

Due to the complex geometric shapes used in the entire building and the incorporation of forward thinking eco-friendly materials, extensive research and design are required. This requires a significant amount of effort to conduct testing, prototype design, build confidence, and train construction teams to learn several new building technologies, as well as the quality control required to implement these technologies. In this way, it successfully built the world's first building using a combination of bamboo and basalt structural system. The hyperbolic structure of the beach club reflects this. Translucent roof materials are also widely used as membrane systems for the first time.

In other places, ceremonial buildings and cave pools use composite SIP panels to create very challenging forms without using concrete. In the "Pure Land" ceremonial architecture, there is a clear gap of 20 meters between the two halves of the building, with the only connection being glass. This requires extensive structural analysis and strict on-site obstacles to ensure the correct creation of geometric shapes, otherwise any construction errors may lead to failure.
